Because legumes are better after becoming junk food

Awhile back I did a post about wacky peanut butter sandwiches.
I usually don't eat peanut butter sandwiches these days, but I remember liking them as a kid. My favorite combination was peanut butter and butter.
It was rich and tasty, and it had about 1,334,208 calories. Every time you ate one, you'd grow a new butt cheek. This is why my pants are tighter than they would otherwise be.
But let's not talk about that.

These days, when I have peanut butter, I have it in the form of candy.
And, in these times of death-by-peanut-butter-salmonella, I call it "playing Reese's roulette".

Also on my list of sweet peanut butter treats are Butterfingers, PB Twix, Clark, and 5th Avenue.
I rarely have them, but when I do, it's a special time requiring several minutes alone.
Please ignore the gasping and heavy breathing.

(Unless I'm dying of salmonella, in which case please take me to the hospital when you have a moment.)

What are YOUR special "guilty pleasure" treats?

Grands' cinnamon roll centers, only 80% cooked.

Whall: 80% cooked?? So they're like raw dough? ....Really?

"Reese's Roulette" I like it!

Lately I have tried to make the calories "worth it" so I am partial to Godiva Chocolate. Although entire plates of M&Ms have disappeared while under my watch.

Dan: Have you tried Godiva dark chocolate ice cream? Ohhhh. It's goooood. Plop some hot fudge on it, and your brain instantly dissolves into a quivering ecstatic pile of goo.

An apple cored with peanut butter filling the hole. Warm it up in the toaster oven. Yummy.

Hey, I'm a guy, we don't do much chocolate.

MarvelGoose: If men ate more chocolate, there would be fewer wars. I'm almost positive that's in the dictionary or bible or something.

Nutella on...well, pretty much anything. But especially warm french bread. Better than donuts.

Guilty pleasure is Eagle Brand Condensed Sweetened Milk chilled to the consistency of pudding ... Absolute pure sugar fix in a can ... Your heart hits the crash cart button at the first bite.

Vic: I like Nutella! It's good on Scottish shortbread cookies.

Thinkinfyou: I heartily agree!

Jamie: Just imagine if you melted some dark chocolate into it and THEN chilled it...

I stopped feeling guilty about foods I enjoy a long time ago.

I do a similar thing with Peanut Butter Twix. I love to play Russian Roulette with them. :)

So many I had to choose the one I wish I had right now.

Cinnamon graham crackers with cream cheese, and just a little bit of dark chocolate.

You know my answer...CAKE!

DaOldMan: Hmmm! Interesting... so it ends up tasting like cheesecake, then?

Travis: Of course! :)
