A post-election sigh of relief

Wow. The whole election thing is finally over.
I haven't watched TV since yesterday; I'll just take everyone's word for it that the mudslinging political ads have finally stopped. Goodbye and good riddance.
Last night I was tuning in to election updates on the radio, and surprisingly it sounded like a lot of the things I voted for actually won.
...Unlike the 2004 election, when I voted for John Kerry. (or, to be more accurate, voted against Dubya.)

What a difference a letter makes

Here's why I'm proud to be from Michigan.
Up in Grand Haven, in Ottawa County, they're going to have to re-print 170,000 ballots because of a typo.
It'll cost $40,000.00.
Best of all, here's the typo: They left the "L" out of the word "PUBLIC." :)
