The joy of flushing

Friday night, right in the middle of laundry time*, I discovered that I had no water.

The water stopped, right in the middle of the rinse/spin cycle.
No water coming out of any of the faucets either.
This meant there was something wrong with the well or the water pump or something else along those lines.
Since I live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, there was absolutely no one even remotely interested in fixing this until Monday.

This means I went all weekend without (a) showering (b) flushing (c) y'know what, that's bad enough right there.  Never mind what (c) is.

The happy news is that it got fixed today, and I once again have water for laundry and showering and flushing as many times as needed.
I am squeaky clean right now, and am reasonably certain I could pass a white glove test, depending on where you checked.
.

*Thank you if you felt sad at the fact that my Friday night involved staying home and doing laundry.
.

P.S.  I was going to title this post "Flushed With Joy", but it sounded oddly familiar.  It turns out I already did a post with that title back in December 2010.

They say Americans wash themselves too much anyway, losing all those essential oils from our skin.

The thing that would get to me is -- no coffee!

Marcia: Ahhh. So all that stench hanging in the air was just my essential oils. I was wondering about that.

I'm happy to hear you git fixed. But I fail to see how that connects to your flushing problem.

nonamedufus: The "Water Pressure Switch" is what got fixed. Not me. :) And it cost a hundred and twenty five bucks, which is actually a lot less than I was expecting.
