On the bright side, they did get a lot of thank-you notes

Glorflox and Zequilon began the long trip back to their home planet.

The first 45,332 light years were spent in awkward silence.

Eventually Glorflox turned to him and said "I know it didn't turn out exactly the way we planned, but we had no way of knowing that most earthlings actually wanted to be probed."
.

MamaZen: Hopefully Zequilon will see the humor in it eventually. :)

ROFL!!
What's slightly disturbing is that your comment made me start craving Gorditas...

Cinema, retuarant, flowers... might have helped.

I love those alien names.

Funny! I can't help but wonder how long it took them to travel those 40,000 light years. If LTLS travel, could the aliens be ents in disguise?

My 55 is The Pages of Every Book

As most of your readers like to have their funny bone tickled. Of the two that is my preference. My 55 is up. You can find it HERE.

To quote Ouiser Boudreaux, you are too twisted for color TV.

Peter Stone: Anything's possible!

Sheri: Thanks for visiting. Have a good weekend. :)

MonkeyMan: I'm so glad you prefer the Jannaverse over alien abduction. :)

Leslie: Thanks for visiting!

PattiKen: I try!

Järnebrand: Thank you!

John's Comments: Bet you had no idea Hallmark made thank-you cards for that, huh? :)

I just keep hoping the aliens will land in my backyard. I also ride the subway whenever possible, hoping to get groped. At my age, you take whatever you can get.

Hmm. I had to sign a release, a waiver, and pay a large fee just to get my CHANCE.

If they didn't know, then they didn't *want* to know, 'sall I'm sayin'.

Janna said...

Sh@KiR@ CK: We can be disgusting indeed. That's part of why satellite TV is so popular. :)

MikeWJ: If only we had a subway here where I live. Well, we DO, but it's part of a Shell Station and it sells footlong subs. Yummy meatball subs with a minimum of groping involved. Maybe I should move to New York.

Whall: How much was the fee?
