Meloncutter

Those of you who read Meloncutter's blog are probably aware of this post, where he said rather abruptly that he would need to give up blogging for awhile. His post sounded rather dire, so I e-mailed him to make sure everything was ok.
I just got his reply.
He said he's physically ok, but is going through a very stressful experience. He explained it all to me, and I agree, it's pretty rough.
In his e-mail, he said: "It would be ok for you to let the readers know that I am going to live and that you contacted me. I could imagine some of them are worried. I was not in a good state of mind when I posted that."
So, here I am, telling you all that. :)
He says he thinks he might be able to return in a month or two.
Here's hoping it's sooner. Blogging is good for the soul.
Hang in there, Meloncutter.

And, for that matter, here's a hug for all the rest of you who are going through rough times too.

Thanks so much for checking up on Meloncutter and then, to let all of us know a little more about his, etc. Like Odat, I too was very concerned about him -about the tone of his post and such. Just hope things level out a bit for him and that he comes back to blogging soon! The cyberspace community won't be quite the same in his absence!

He really struck a nerve with me. I left a message to let him know I understand - as much as possible.
Thanks for your note about migraines. I'm so full of different meds that have (rats - can't think of the name)too much of the same thing that the migraine meds have. So, having had a gastric bypass I can only take Tylenol - no NSAIDS. I suffer in silence: lots of suffering and very little silence!
LOL...
~~~Blessings~~~
Odat: After that post he wrote, I had to check up on him, just to make sure he was ok. :)
Jeni: I hope things level out too. And I agree that cyberspace will not be quite the same in his absence. For one thing, there will be a lot less methane.
AmazingGracie: I didn't realize bypass surgery limited the types of meds you could take. Yikes!
Bee: This particular circumstance isn't something he can just "snap out of".
Lois: Things up north are getting cooler, which I enjoy. The sun and I are not exactly friends.
Sarge: Thanks for stopping by! Glad to hear you left him a note. He'll appreciate that.
TheTeach: Good idea. Something tells me he doesn't know just how much support he has in the blogosphere.
Pawlie: Yes, indeed. :)
Patti: Thanks for stopping by! :)
Tell him to try Hawaii. Seems to be doing wonders for ol' Dave from Blogography.com
