I beg to differ, but cold tater tots and semi-auto rifles are perfectly acceptable here in the south.

Cold tater tots make very good small targets on the fence in the back yard to shoot at.

You just have to be careful not to put them in line with the neighbors house or them sumbitches will shoot back.

Later Y'all.

Yep, semi-automatic rifle would be welcomed here, too...Maybe not by my 'BOSS', but hey - he's not a mom, he doesn't get a vote. ;-)

I wouldn't mind #9 or #13. I think all parents are dummies when it comes to parenting. It's a crapshoot. You do what you can with what you have at the time.

I think what you mean is "13 things that would be GREAT mother's day presents".

How are ice cubes WORSE than dried-macaroni necklaces?

Of course, a Doodle of a sweater made out of spaghetti and ice cubes would have been an even worse Mother's Day present -- seeing as how it's Day Two of Doodle Week!

Meloncutter: Note to self: Stay in Michigan.

Tug: Put it on your wish list, and send the list to your boss along with a gift basket full of shrapnel.

Shelli: Oh, I agree that parenting seems like a "learn as you go" kind of thing. Still, it'd probably hurt if your kid gave you "Parenting For Dummies" as a Mothers' Day present. Ouch!

Gwen: What kind of stuff do you give for the other holidays?

Texastesla: Good point!

Morgen: I just posted an abstract doodle over at Jantrails. And I drew another one which I plan to post for Manic Monday. Fun!

What mother couldn't use a semi automatic rifle?

Janna said...

Trukindog: Well, MINE would probably frown on it... She got a necklace and a bracelet instead! (I made them myself! :)

I gave my mom cold hashbrowns for Mother's Day once. They went very well with the cold bacon and cold eggs.

But then I was only about 8 years old and I hadn't learned how to coordinate the timing.

I actually have #4. It wasn't for mother's day though.

I was hoping for an ant farm... and it would totaly depend on the algae. If your mom was an environmentalist you could get her some of that fancy stuff that eats oil. That'd be a cool present... especially if she does her own oil changes and never knows what to do with the old oil.

Travis: Timing is everything!

Rayne: You have a picture of your duodenum? Is it framed?

Marilyn: My mom usually frowns on algae.
