Concerts, Parties, and Death Rain

Our band concert was Friday night.
It was ok.
After that, there was our post-concert party at Jason's house.
Actually, it's still going on... I left around 3:15 a.m.
It's an all-weekend party, so I'm going back tomorrow.

One thing I learned is that Blair's Death Rain is really delicious on Sweet-Spicy-Chili Doritos. Delicious, delicious pain. Yummy.

Here's the site which sells the whole line of Blair's hot sauces. It's called "ExtremeFood.com". There's liquid sauce, as well as dry spice in shakers.

And, I just learned that there's another version of Blair's Death Rain, called "Blair's Death Rain NITRO"... it's supposedly even hotter than the original.

I want it.

I want it really, really bad.

So here's my story.

I've been an occasional reader of jannaverse, only half paying attention, commenting here and there. Today I see the words "band concert" and think back to high school, because to me, how else could those two words conjoin?

So I'm thinking - is this person in high school? I don't recall seeing any band stuff since I've been reading.

So I see a "people from band" category and start reading through that. I see a couple of posts at jantrails and I see you say something like "my old band director from high school" so I know you're not in high school, but evidently play french horn.

I'm learning.

I'm a former band player (euphonium/baritone/trumpet); I was big into high school band and edned up going into Army Band and National Guard Band. My wife also was a band geek; in fact, that's where we met and started dating in high school band. My daughter's in band; she's a top flute player and enjoys it immensely (I can't brag about her enough).

So I'll be paying more attention to the band info and photos as I continue to learn more.

I sure do miss band.

Whall: Ooooh! You play baritone! Bari people are cool. Well, most of them, anyway. As for the band thing, it's a community band, with people of all ages, who are from various places in southern Michigan. I'm 38. High school was a long time ago. I am old and warped and have almost no life.

I'm amazed you don't have to wear asbestos-lined depends.

Thanks for the warning! I'll be sure to stay away from that spicy stuff, as we all know what a spicy wuss I am.

How much to eat a whole container of that on camera?

Morgen: The asbestos would be too itchy.

Travis: Awwwww, c'mon!!!

Fab: First you'd have to buy me the camera....

You are avoiding the question...

Fab: Very well. The question was "How much to eat a whole container of that on camera?"
The answer is this. By myself, I'd probably eat the whole thing for free, eventually. But for people to WATCH me do it, I'd like this:

1) $1000.00 if I am allowed to mix it with other stuff (like chips and dip); $2500.00 if I have to eat it all straight out of the bottle
2) Video camera capable of taking the aforementioned shot
3) Computer capable of processing the video
4) Pint of premium quality chocolate ice cream to eat afterward
5) Love and admiration and respect from millions of adoring fans, including you.

It might also be nice if a fairy would grant me three wishes.
