My Green Yard

Remember last month, when I posted pictures of my snowy yard?

Here's what it looked like on April 5...

Here's what it looked like on April 11...

And now, may I present that same yard, covered in sunny warm green stuff.

Honestly, I prefer the snow.
But at least it isn't TOO ungodly hot yet.
Yet.
But it will be soon.
In the middle of this week, the temperatures are supposed to soar up into the mid-to upper-70's, which is too hot for me.
I know those of you in the southern states are laughing at me right now for saying that.

Not just laughing. Laughing uproariously.

My sister lives on a mountain. When the temps go above 60 degrees, she's too hot. Needless to say, I don't see her down here in the desert very often.

It's all relative anyway. I'm not laughing. We had high 60's today and it was lovely.

You know - those same folk from the south are bundling up in parkas when the temps hit 50 degrees.

It's all about what you're body can take.

Mr. Fab: Ok, we're even. :)

Lynda: I wish I had air conditioning here!!!!

Desert Songbird: Sounds like your sister and I agree completely on what constitutes a comfy climate!

Travis: True!
