Thirteen Things I Did Today

1) Decided that blue will be my favorite color for the next 24 hours.
2) Got into an argument with my mother. (Not shouting-mad, but still very very tense).
3) Heard my cat barfing on the carpet.
4) Did some fun photoshopping.
5) Started working on my latest music composition project (those of you who listened to me on the Pointless Drivel radio show last weekend know what I'm talking about). I'll blog more about it later on...
6) Cringed when I saw the price of gas.
7) Held a purring cat for a few minutes. (Not the same cat who barfed).
8) Unsuccessfully tried fighting a bunch of mixed-up bureaucratic BS over the phone.
9) Fought the urge to jump off a cliff. (This decision was made easier by the fact that there are no cliffs in Michigan. At least none that I could find.)
10) Realized that my harp is REALLY out of tune.
11) Made mental note to fix the stuck third valve on my french horn.
12) Put some "Harvest Apple" scented lotion on my rough sandpapery elbows.
13) Took pictures of me holding a banana against my face for no reason.

Girl I can relate to number 8, try dealing with the wonderous nonsensical organization within I.N.S.
I am so busy but will work at getting my interview questions (which I love) before the weekend.
You have a lovely Philtrum btw.

I reckon I shouldn't tell ya about that big ol' "cliff" in Grand Ledge, MI, huh? Time was, it was a popular rock-climbing location.

You know when the banana rings you should hold it against your ear. Works better that way.

Danielle: I had to Google the word "Philtrum"! Uh, thanks, I guess! :) I can honestly say that's a compliment no one's ever given me before.

Desert Songbird: I've heard of Grand Ledge but am not positive exactly where it is. Gas prices being what they are, I'll just wait for cliffs to magically appear here at home.

Michael: LOL! Yes, you're right! I knew I was doing something wrong! :)

I never seem to be able to keep my elbows smooth either.

We are forever linked by our sandpapery elbow pain.

That banana sure looks like a comfort. One of my cats barfed yesterday, but I don't know which one. I had to pet both of them.

They demand it anyway.

Mr. Fab: We should form a support group. Remind me, the next time you see me hiding out in the bushes.

Lynda: Yeah, my cats pretty much realize they rule the house too. :)

the top banana pic of you doesn't even look like you.... it kinda weirded me out.
but then I looked at it some more, and it looks like you're trying to telepathically talk to the banana.
Like the fresh fruit version of Karnak:

"What do a split, a peel, and a picture of psychic Janna all have in common?"

took pictures of you holding a banana to your face? ha ha ha, seriously girl, that's funny i don't care who you are...

Morgen: Whaddya mean, the top picture doesn't look like me???

Bee: Glad it made you laugh. :)

Morgen said...

I dunno, Janna. The top picture just has this innocence and vulnerability that you don't let out of its cage very often...

Janna said...

Morgen: Well, in my defense, it IS kinda hard to pick the lock on the cage.
