Don't shoot! I'm almost done!
"Suspect is in visual range. Proceed with caution."
"Can I shoot to kill? Huh? Can I?"
"Maybe. Stand by."
The officer walked cautiously up to the car in the Wendy's parking lot.
The driver opened the door, still chewing the last bit of her Arby's sandwich.
"It was delicious!" She confessed. "And I'm not sorry!"
........................................................................................
This, of course, is based on my recent post where someone called the police because I was parked in a Wendy's parking lot and eating Arby's food.
I still can't believe someone would do that, and I still can't believe the police took it seriously.
We live in a strange, strange world.

YAY!!!!
Janna reverts back to writing about food...And they throw her in the slammer!
Sunsabitches....
This was one of the weirdest things that I've ever read Janna.
Just one thing. Was all the parking spots taken at Wendy's?
Why even go to Arby's.....UNLESS!
You already ordered a Wendy's Double, but you prefered a Jamocha Shake over a Frostie.
Anyway...Loved your embarrassing 55
Thanks for playing, You are like a COP-FREE/BUSYBODY-FREE Arby's parking lot where you can eat as leisurely as you like, then chuck all the garbage out the window!!!!
(Unnoticed)
Have a Lick Ass Week-End
G-Man: LMAO!!! See, you're just quirky enough that I actually wondered at first whether it was a typo or not. :)
Ha ha ha.
Ummm. I'm still wondering. Ha ha
Seriously. This is true?!! I would have said. "Arrest me!!l. Seriously. You could have said to the judge you were going to buy dessert at Arby's.
Margaret: This is an absolutely true story. I was eating an Arby's chicken sandwich in the Wendy's lot, and the police showed up. They said someone in Wendy's called them to investigate why I was there.
Bizarre.
What a spin! Well done.
Gail: Thanks for visiting!
This seriously happened, Janna? My goodness - I never knew there were hamburger police! Crazy!People seriously need to get a grip, don't they?
This read like a movie...coming soon to a theater near you - "The Parking Lot Vigilantes" :)
Bizarre. It's illegal? So very, very wrong.
I'm UK. A UK colleague of mine attending a convention in Calif was stopped by the police for WALKING in public, in a city suburb. Apparently everyone in the district where he committed this heinous offence DRIVES - even to visit their next door neighbours. So a man actually WALKING is regraded as suspicious.
"Lie on the pavement face down with your hands behind your head, you limey walking motherfiucker. This is a civilised country and we can mange quite well without pedestrians, thank you!"
"Strange world" doesn't even come close to describing it, lol. Glad you survived the ordeal!
OMG! You have got to be kidding me that someone would actually call the police. That is a truly sad statement of what people waste their time worrying about. But it's hilarious as fiction!
This is so weird, why will they suspect you ~
And I'm laughing at G-Man's comment...he..he...
Happy Friday ~
Our tax dollars at work!
TALON: Yes, it really honestly happened. I'm still kind of annoyed about it. (!!) I agree completely; some people definitely need to get a grip. The thing is, it wasn't some crazy customer who called the cops; it was the Wendy's employees themselves!
Alice: It is definitely NOT illegal, yet that didn't stop people from overreacting anyway.
DoctorFTSE: After what happened here, I can believe it!
Rastaman: I survived. LOL. Thanks for visiting!
brandi: LOL. I agree on both counts. :)
razzamadazzle: The only part that was fictional was where they said "Shoot to kill". Everything else really happened!
Grace: G-Man wins the "Best Typo Of The Year" award. (And it's only February!)
MamaZen: Acccgghhh! Sad but true!
