Sending myself a get-well card

I'm sick today. I've been sick since Monday night.
If you want to know how I feel, this sums it up pretty nicely. (Except for the part about the onion rings.)
So does this.

I anxiously await the day when I can breathe again.

Kind of reminds me of this cartoon I made, back in June 2009:

I'd send you a chocolate cheesecake to ease your ails, but since your nose is so stuffed up you probably wouldn't taste it, let alone enjoy it.

Try some Jewish penicillian, my dear!

Get well soon.

Feel better, Janna!

00dozo: I've never heard of Jewish penicillin...??

Chris: I'm trying... trying... yet so far all I seem to be doing is producing enough snot to fill a kiddie pool.

Jewish Penicillin: Chicken soup - preferably homemade. Carrots, onions, chicken (of course), and celery. Salt and pepper (or hot pepper) to taste. Noodles or barley optional.

Don't know why, but it works, even if you don't eat the chicken. If anything else, it's a great comfort food.

00dozo: Ah! I've had plenty of hot chicken broth. Noodles sound good. Barley is ok too. Now that I can taste things again (I'm currently in my 2nd week of this stuff), maybe I'll have some "real" chicken soup tonight.
