The room's growing dim, and... wait, is that a pork chop?

Have you ever felt so hungry you couldn't even think straight?

It's as if your BRAIN is empty as well as your stomach. Picture a fuel gauge on your forehead, with the pointer on "E".

Also imagine that for no reason there's a purple walrus on your shoulder, and his name is Lenny, and he wants you to join a book club which never sells anything except brochures on walrus mating.

Now imagine the phenomenon of your brain STILL feeling that way even after your stomach is full.
Full.
Can't eat another bite, but the cerebral fuel gauge is still on "E".
Can't think. Can't concentrate. Tired.

This pretty well describes Day #1 of going vegan.

P.S. I walked past the bakery today just so I could smell the donuts. Twice.

All of a sudden I'm feeling like a Double Down from the Colonel.

White rice.
Vegetarian baked beans.
Half a banana.

For supper.

It's not worth it, Janna. No way.

Where are the potatoes? Vegans can eat potatoes, can't they?

Having to do a special diet for a surgical procedure and, of course, whatever it is you can't eat is what you crave. Good luck on your vegan adventure. Just don't let the cops find you in a donut coma after your family files the missing person report.

That's a whole bunch of carbs isn't it? Gross. I'm rooting for you to stop the insanity sooner rather than later

nonamedufus: Me too!!!

Chris: No, no... for dinner I had an ENTIRE banana. (LOL!!)

GorillaBananas: Yes... potatoes are ok. :)

MonkeyMan: Shhhh... don't tell them where I am.

Grace: Heyyyyy... I'm already cutting out meat and cheese and milk and honey and gelatin and eggs... let's not start worrying about carbs too. There would be NOTHING left to eat.
As for stopping the insanity, I totally agree. Especially today.

postzoom: I can't tell if you're spam or not. If you are, I'm very sad. If not, thanks for visiting. :)

This diet doesn't appeal to me. I should disclose that I had BBQ ribs last Sunday. Delicious. Probably going to kill me via my heart, but I don't care.

MikeWJ: This time I seem to be craving pizza, cheeseburgers, and breakfast burritos slightly more than BBQ ribs, which is surprising.
