Blfrrgl. Glarrf, ddhhh argckkk.

Egad.
Today was a rotten day.

Remember yesterday when I said my brain wasn’t working quite right and it didn’t feel like I was getting the kind of “fuel” I needed?

Today I woke up with one of the worst migraines I’ve ever had, and it lasted for about 13 hours.

I lost count of the number of times I threw up.

I had to come home from work and just lay in bed for the entire day.

Couldn’t eat breakfast; too nauseous.
Couldn’t eat lunch; too nauseous.
I couldn’t even keep WATER down.

Around 6:30 I tentatively tested my stomach by eating a handful of crispy rice noodles.
So far, so good.
After band, I was able to finally eat a meal.

I dunno, you guys.
If this kind of thing keeps up, I’ll have to abandon the vegan experiment.
I knew it would be hard, but I didn't think it would be THIS bad.
I’ll keep it up for now, but if the migraines keep happening, I’ll have to compromise by switching to being just “regular” vegetarian for the remainder of the week. I’ll still avoid meat, but will be able to have eggs, cheese, milk, honey, etc.

Nothing… I couldn’t.

Nothing… I couldn’t.

I'm beginning to understand what it means to be vegan.
Vacuous Eats Get Anyone Nauseous.

Oh, wow, I'd never consider going vegan, partly because I think crispy rice noodles are fried in animal fat. At least, traditionally. Also, I'm scared of getting a migraine headache. Sorry you're not feeling well, Janna.

Well, if you're going to be too sick to eat, "Vegan Week" is as good a time as any.

MikeWJ: I made sure to look at the ingredients list before eating them; I had the same thought about them possibly being fried in animal fat. But lo and behold! Nope! :)
Good thing, too, 'cuz those things are tasty. :)

Chris: Sad but true!
