What would YOUR buffet have?

If I could create my own personal buffet with twelve of my very favorite dishes on it, this is what I would want today:

1. Fettucine Alfredo (the GOOD kind, with so many calories that it interferes with cell phone reception.)

2. Shrimp Scampi (With tons of garlic. There is no such thing as too much garlic butter. Bonus points if this is served with crab cakes.)

3. Cheese Enchiladas (Preferably a good authentic Mexican recipe, with delicious flavorful cheese, rich spicy sauce, and corn tortillas)

4. Spaghetti And Meatballs (Please note that it is against the law to serve this dish without a loaf of garlic bread.)

5. General Tso's Chicken (No onions, please. And for goodness sakes, don't skimp on the hot peppers. The hotter the better. It is against the law to serve this without at least one egg roll.)

6. A giant pizza with enough meat to make all farm animals quiver in fear (except maybe the horses.)

7. Macaroni And Cheese (The good kind, with smooth creamy sharp cheese, NOT curdled or grainy. Bonus points if it's baked with a crispy crunchy topping.)

8. Black Raspberry Pie (I suppose blueberry pie would also be acceptable.)

9. Hot Fudge Mud Pie (Including enough chocolate to make me see hallucinations of talking trees. Here's one that has almost enough.)

10. A big giant tub of crispy bacon (Baaaaaaacon.... *slurp* *drool*)

11. BBQ Ribs (There is no such thing as too many BBQ ribs.)

12. Bacon Barbecue Cheeseburgers (With jalapeno peppers, of course. Possibly habanero peppers instead.)

Great list. I see you rate vegetables just about where I rate them. Not at all.

nonamedufus: LOL! Exactly! :) Except for the hot peppers. Those count, right?

Damn! You had to mention egg rolls, didn't you. I could make a meal of those.

Yummy post (well, except for the hot stuff).

MikeWJ: They make lemon pepper wings? Really? That might be good...

Wingstop does, and trust me when I tell you that they are delicious. I might have them for dinner tonight, in fact.

Oh, boy, spoken like a lady who's been on a diet WAY too long!

MikeWJ: Interesting... I think we have a Wing Street about 20 miles away, but not a Wing Stop. Maybe the menu will be similar. Hmmm.

PattiKen: LOL! So true. :)
