Drowning in my tepee

Lately I've been drinking a lot of hot tea.
I've tried regular boring tea, as well as green tea, white tea, red tea, black tea, and probably other colors too.
At work I have one of those electric kettle things which can quickly boil a pot of water. All day long I'm making tea and drinking tea and peeing, and repeating the process.

My bladder is currently the size of a Volkswagen.

I've been trying to find tea flavors I really LOVE.
So far I like Celestial Seasonings' True Blueberry, Lemon Zinger, and Peppermint the best. Earl Grey is also good (possibly because it reminds me of Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek).

There are also flavors that have literally made me cringe, like Stash's "Strawberry Pomegranate", Bigelow's "Raspberry Chrysanthemum," and almost anything by Tazo.
(Chrysanthemum tea? Really?)

Do any of you have "favorite" tea flavors I should try? (or avoid?)

If it's really true that herbal tea is good for you, I think I should probably be developing superpowers by next Friday.
I hope I get to fly. It will save me a ton of gas money.
.

Q: Did you hear about the Indian who drank five gallons of iced tea?

A: They found him the next morning, drowned in his tepee.
.

(P.S. After less than a minute of Googling, I learned that it's equally acceptable to spell it as "tepee," "teepee," or "tipi".)

I also like Earl Grey, and Orange Pekoe is good, too. I like mine iced, though. A little sugar, no lemon.

You might try their red zinger - a bit on the spicy side, well not spicy to YOU, bit a definite zing for the res of us. There are some raspberry teas that are quite lovely - Celestial Seasonings has one I like.

I like the "normal" tea but have developed a taste for green tea.

I can drink some of the other flavors cold but not hot.

I'm with you on Tazo. Weird.

When I drink tea it's Green Tea. But it's usually at a Japanese or Sushi restaurant. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Otherwise I'm a coffee guy.

Comparing your bladder to the size of a VW bug is disturbing me. Do you realize all the things I've done inside a VW bug?

Love the addition of the pictures!!!! :) My favourite tea has to be Twinings' Irish Breakfast Blend, or else Tetley's British blend. Way faboo.

MikeWJ: That sounds good too. Though I love lemon with cold tea. :)

Grace: Spicy red, as in cinnamon...? Or something else? I'll have to check. I'm not all that fond of cinnamon but I'll try almost anything once. :)

ReformingGeek: I like green tea. Except when it was that kind Tazo made. Really. It was part of a Tazo variety pack, and I thought "Oh, surely I'll like THIS one..." but no. Weird.

NoNameDufus: I've never been to a Japanese (or sushi) restaurant ever in my entire life. I'm not much of a sushi chick. My favorite part of those places would probably end up being the music.

VE: Quick! Think about Aunt Gerty laying on the glass table instead!

Gwendolynn: I haven't tried Twinings or Tetley yet. I'll have to put them on the list of kinds to try later! :)

Just regular Lipton's or Red Rose tea for me, PG Tips if I'm in the UK.

Milk and real sugar.

Mik: I will never get used to the idea of having milk in tea. I did, however, once try Häagen-Dazs' GREEN TEA Ice Cream. It was interesting, but nothing I ever plan on having again. :)
