Sniff... Sniff.... Is something burning? ... Oh.

(Sing to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star")

Ja-la-pe-nos are not hot,
Neither's a Tabasco shot.
Give me something brave and bold,
Sizzling culinary gold,
Burn my tongue (and other parts),
Later, molten lava farts.

(A tribute to the wonderful habanero peppers I've eaten this week, with apologies to my slightly surprised digestive system.)

LOL. In our family, if the food was too hot we'd have an ice cream chaser to settle things down. To quote my grandfather, "come on ice cream!"

OK here is the 14 % of my brain asking, you have 4 blogs,
which equals:
3 & 76% more than my brain can handle.

Which blog do I follow? I am not able to blog
much with my shrinking time and expanding work schedule(in this economy, I'm doing it)

so, Grace,
which blog, I say this is it!

thanks for following
Dianne

Sounds like an extention of the "Boys will be Boys" post I wrote Wednesday. Great 55. Thanks for peeking at mine.

Ew, I hate molten lava farts. And I just never seem to learn. But it sure saves on home heating expenses!

Ok, I laughed out loud (I'm not gonna use the acronym! I refuse)

Hope you have a lot of Fabreeze!

Alice: Ice cream sounds wonderful too! Actually, lately I've been craving orange sherbet....

Dianne: LOL. The Jannaverse is definitely the one I use the most often. The others are just occasional extras. :) Thanks for following!

SandyCarlson: Very! :)

Hootin'Anni: Happy Friday to you too!

BrianMiller: Once in awhile I pay later too, but it's always worth it. :)

PrayerGirl: Thanks for visiting!

Schererart: I have an "art" with words? Oh. Yes... the "F" is silent.

Lizzy and Elle: Thanks for visiting, and thanks for the invite. If only I wasn't in the process of trying to simplify my life, I'd definitely consider adding something like that to my repertoire. :)

MonkeyMan: Meh. Girls fart too. :) Some of them just don't want to admit it. I have no problem letting 'em rip. This might be why I'm still single.

Nonamedufus: Excellent point about the home heating expenses. With one can of beans and a dozen hot peppers, I might be able to make it all the way til March...!

VE: Oh, believe me, I have Febreeze. :) (And I had no idea you were anti-LOL!)

Nessa: I try!

Fandango: Don't you sometimes do that anyway, even without the peppers?

Susan at Stony River: LOL! It is fun to sing, isn't it?

Dr.John: Sorry to hear that. What a shame! I love spicy things more than anything else. So much flavor! Especially when garlic is involved.

Boomer: I try to rock whenever possible, and maybe 29% of the time I succeed. :)

Susan Anderson: Spiciness is awesome! :)

The Scotch Bonnet is a bit TOO intense for my liking, but I'm so glad that You enjoy them.
I've written many Odes to my favorite foods.
Great Job Janna...

Good job on cracking me up. Have you ever been to Thailand and eaten their tiny mouse-dung peppers? Fits your description perfectly. Burns all the way in, and all the way out...

G-Man: Scotch bonnets and habaneros are both wonderful. :) I love them, even if they do sometimes make my ears hurt. :o

CM Jackson: Have fun making salsa! That's my favorite way to eat them. :)

Peter Stone: LOL. Nope, never been to Thailand, never had mouse dung peppers. :) I'll take your word for it!

Ronda: Very true!

I still can't even take the spice my tongue gets when someone else in the room eats a jalapeno. I guess it’s due to the fact that I still have all my taste buds. Also, I’ve never smoked in my life. By the way, this most excellent comment happens to contain exactly fifty-five words. Enjoy!

Whall: I have all my taste buds too! Mine are just more courageous than yours. :) How on earth did your Texan palate end up so timid?
I appreciate the fact that your comment had exactly fifty-five words. To express my appreciation, I would like to point out that my reply also contains exactly fifty-five words.
