At least the jewelry would be lightweight
"Look what I bought on E-Bay!" Richard excitedly handed the package to Jean. "My invisible diamonds are here!"
"Invisible diamonds?" Jean frowned. "But this is just an empty envelope."
"The diamonds are invisible," he reminded her. "I coulda bought more, but didn't."
"And why not?"
"Because then I would've had to pay double for shipping."

Susan: Fridays are always a good time to groan. :) Even if right now it's still technically Thursday.
Brian: Never mind the bridge; do you have any swampland?
G-Man: A pillow of excitement on a bed of ennui! Wow! I can honestly say I've never been called that before. :)
clean and crazy: Hi again! Thanks for visiting! :)
The Emperor's New Jewels? *giggle* Fun one. Shame about the extra shipping, though. Smart man to limit himself. *wink*
I'm up, too!

GREAT WRITING
MINE IS UP
Oh my dear that's a hoot! Of course we all know people like that...
Now I don't feel so silly for bidding on them.
Heh, heh, heh . . . very clever!
Here's mine:

ha ha haha
Clever boy!
I love it- hilarious
Hilarious bordering on hitonious. I hate that having to pay double for shipping.
Well done.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh, don't get me going on ebay's shipping and the seller's trying to rip us off.
But this...the invisible diamonds....well, I'll refrain from voicing my opinion of the buyer. LOLOLOLOL
HERE is mine --scroll down below my show n tell as always. Happy Friday.
cute!!! and a groaner. mine's up
This is hilarious!
Hard to beat those invisible diamonds for clarity and color. Carat weight is a little hard to judge though.
He should've got 'em from Amaz*n. They have free shipping on orders over $25.
Next you'll be trying to put over that old bit about how cutting your hair makes it grow.
What? No bonus of free sea monkeys to go along with the diamonds. Love this. My 55 is HERE.
Smarmoofus: LOL! "The Emperor's New Jewels!" Perfect!
Dianne: Thanks for visiting!
Grace: I think I used to be one of those people, back when I was obsessed with E-bay about 5 years ago...
Marla: Apparently you're in good company! ;)
Kathleen: Thanks for visiting!
Larry: LOL, yes... at the very least there was you and Marla and Richard!
Dulce: Clever indeed. :) Thanks for visiting!
Fandango: Thanks for making me Google the word "hitonious"! :)
Hootin'Anni: I know. One of my least favorite things about E-bay was the seller trying to cheat people on shipping. It doesn't happen every time; there are still some honest sellers. But there are also some equally dishonest ones.
Sarah: I like groaners! :)
Schererart: Thank you! Welcome, and thanks for visiting.
MamaZen: I try! :)
Mojo: I know! The clarity is amazing; you can see right through them!
MonkeyMan: I remember having sea monkeys as a kid. Briefly. Veeery briefly. :(
.
Boy does this 55 remind me of a few of my "diamond" purchases off EBAY...all I can say is "PRECIOUS"! :D
Now this is my kind of 55.
Well done.
LuldaCasasdaga: I agree; let the E-bayer beware! Some of the sellers are sneaky greedy people... which I suppose is also true of a percentage of ANY population. :( Sad!
Dr.John: Thanks for visiting! :)
Isn't that just like a man... to skimp because of the postage!!! A very original 55!
Sounds like a typical eBay transaction!
Felicitas: Thank you for visiting! :)
Mik: LOL! It definitely matches some of them out there.
