Would they all taste like chicken?

It's a good thing that animals can't breed across species, otherwise we'd have some nasty combinations to deal with.

For example:

1. Elephant and Mosquito
--After getting bitten, you would have no blood left.

2. Pterodactyl and Vampire Bat
--see above.

3. Chipmunk and Hippo
--Oh, sure, they're cute, but if they fall out of a tree, they can crush you to death.

4. Ant and Siberian Tiger
--You might want to avoid stomping on those nests.

5. Worm and Giant Anaconda
--Good luck getting that on the fishhook.

6. Flea and Great White Shark
--Fido and Fluffy will never be quite the same afterward.

7. Squirrel and Tyrannosaurus Rex
--You should probably just let him go ahead and hide his nuts wherever he wants.

Someday soon, I hope I walk into a Barnes & Noble and see this ongoing brilliance that is Janna being sold for $29.99 in hardcover, $14.99 in paperback and downloadable to your iPhone or Kindle for $9.99. Because then I will be able to say, "I knew her when she was just a blogger who picked a booger waiting in line at the bank."

MikeWJ: I didn't pick a booger! I was just scratching! Honest! Really! (29.99? Really? That much? Hmmmm...)

Grace: It almost makes me wish dinosaurs weren't extinct!

Marilyn: These would make some fun photoshopping projects, wouldn't they? :)

Sorry, still trying to wrap my head around the mosquito-elephant reproductive process.

Uncivil: How funny and cute, in a disturbing alien sort of way!

Knucklehead: And all this time we thought it was just a stinger...
