So can I have my own TV show now?

Years ago, there was an episode of Seinfeld where Jerry was waiting in traffic and had to scratch his nose. Unbeknownst to him until moments later, someone else in traffic was watching him the whole time-- and from their perspective it looked just like he was picking his nose. They were disgusted, and he spent the rest of the episode trying to convince him that it wasn't what they thought.

This happened to me a few days ago.

I was waiting in the bank drive-through lane, and my nose itched. I wasted no time in reaching right up there and taking care of business. (Hey, what can I say. When you're almost 40, you start to adopt the philosophy of "Life is short; scratch whatever itches.")

It was then that I looked over and saw the guy in the truck in the lane next to me.
He was staring.

Things I should have said:
1. "I'm multitasking."
2. "Wanna shake hands?"
3. "No, turn back around. I need to see if I can hit your other ear this time."
.

Don't worry about it. It's not like you got caught rolling it into a ball and flinging it. Right? RIGHT?!!

Marilyn: And you can do commercials for the sign shop! It'll be great!

Grace: That can be my slogan: "Slightly better than dreck."

Jeff: It would've served him right if I did, the way he was staring....

If he stared he was probably a voyeur who's into that sort of thing.

You should have eaten it for him. Or invited him back to your place to compare deposit slips.

Canadu: He was indeed staring. Maybe he was trying to think of how to blog about it...

MikeWJ: Withdrawal slip, in my case. But yes; we could've compared blogs and Flickr pictures and everything. (Get it? Booger? Flickr? HahaHAhaha....)
