Daydreaming about gnawing on a yak

Today was my first day of temporary self-imposed vegetarianism.
I've already forgotten how to type, and my knuckles are muttering something in a language I can't quite understand. I've chosen not to worry about why three dozen cranberries are dancing on my ceiling.

Clearly, bacon cheeseburgers are very important to life as we know it.

Day #1:

Breakfast: sliced peaches, tea
Lunch: Lean Cuisine vegetable egg roll w/rice
Dinner:
Plain cheese pizza rolls
.

They make plain cheese pizza rolls?? My world has just opened up.

Antelope: They do indeed. Just sauce and cheese wrapped up in pizza roll dough. They weren't terrible, but I have to admit that I really, really missed the pepperoni.

I knew you were a granola queen at heart! You're my new hero!!

Steve: Granola Queen? It sounds like that tiara would be awfully itchy...

That's all you ate all day??? Sorry but that is not enough food to keep a person alive...

Grace: Sure it is. It totaled over 2000 calories worth of stuff... I felt kinda guilty, in fact. (!!!)

Today I ate, 2 hamburger steaks and 2 hotdogs. No buns. No veggies. I consumed nothing but pure meat.

I guess somewhere in the slathering of catsup (ketchup, here in the south) there may have been something kin to a tomato floating around in all the preservatives and chemicals though.

I will keep the animal world nervous for you this week.

Later Y'all.

I would starve to death on what you ate today, meat or no meat. On the other hand, maybe I wouldn't have my own gravitational pull and three moons rotating around me 24/7.

Janna, when you run out of the pizza rolls, they are the "four cheese" Hot Pockets as well as one with just broccoli and cheese...very tasty :p and a bit more filling, wot?

okay apparently I have quite a bit of catching up to do. Either you have gone vegan on me or are trying to loose weight. Either way I am in. Love me some veggies. And I am sure you already know about this one. But cook cauliflower then mash it like mashed potatoes and throw in a wedge or 3 of laughing cow cheese so freaking yummy-licsious

Meloncutter: Be sure and leave me a few BBQ ribs. I am definitely going to have some of those when this week is over.

MikeWJ: And I actually felt guilty for having over 2000 calories. Not sure why I counted; just out of curiosity, I guess.

Subtorp: I'll keep that in mind!

JustAGirl: Nah, I'm not vegan. Still eating cheese & milk. And this is just some silly thing I'm doing for one week. Just for fun. Just this week. Next week the meaty carnage will return. :)

That doesn't seem like enough food. Did you leave out the snacks?

Travis: It was over 2000 calories worth of stuff. I didn't leave anything out. (Did I mention I ate the entire bag of pizza rolls?) (!!)
