I've actually seen vehicles done up similar to this (beats a plastic bag and duct tape; too, this one you can see out of ).

I remember one guy riveting a bunch of flattened soda & beer cans to-gether, to make a wheel-well for his rotting car. It got him past inspection, tho'-LOL!

My first reaction was: Why did they use ginger root to keep the window in?

That is so funny. A house window in a car, especially a large SUV, would probably look pretty cool. Just not like this. LOL.

Happy WW from Sara @ The Mostly Wordless Wednesday H.Q.!

Subtorp77: It met inspection? Really? Wow...!

Grace: Hey, yeah, it does sorta resemble that, doesn't it? Or maybe extra-buttery mashed potatoes...?

Sara: Welcome! Thank you! :)

Thom: Rabbit? ... rabbit? Is there one right behind me, getting ready to pounce?

Janna, I know. That wouldn't happen here in Mass. Not now, anyway!

Turns out that the expanding foam stuff voids the warranty on new windows (how I know this is a very long and sad story about an alcoholic subcontractor), but I guess in this case that's not a problem.

Subtorp77: Hee!

Marilyn: Wow... though I guess MOST stories about alcoholic subcontractors would be long and sad.
