Things I want to do before I turn 40 in January
1. Take out the trash (I have a problem with procrastinating).
2. Grow a Chia Pet (I've never done this! My mother is mortified at the very thought; she thinks they're tacky. I think they can be tacky AND fun at the same time. Yet, in my almost-40 years on this planet, I still haven't gotten around to growing one. This could prove to be a challenge, considering how much plants hate me.)
3. Figure out how to make a Wordle for the Jannaverse. (It never works whenever I try). I hear it probably has something to do with the fact that I have a blogspot blog instead of a format where all the archived text is easily accessible and grabbable.
4. Try Kentucky Grilled Chicken and blog about it. The way their prices are these days, though, I may need to mortgage my property first.
5. Lose one pound for every time Paris Hilton has ever said something is "hot".
6. Figure out where I left my Tears For Fears CD, and listen to Mad World about a thousand times.
7. Get bifocals. (Seriously, I need them).
8. Make that Wild Sauce recipe I blogged about over at Jantrails.
9. Find inner peace and joy and contentment, even if this means living alone in a cave somewhere on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

LOL...I can't imagine how much garbage you will have LOL. Love No 5 and Mad World is one of my favorites also :)
My sister loved Chia Pets for some reason. I always think of her when I see them.
Maybe I'll buy you one for Christmas.
Oy! I take the trash out every other day, it seems. #5 would work; I need to lose a coupla stones worth. #7-had them when I was a kid( and trifocals, at one point )! And the KFC grilled chicken does look good!
I sent you a Wordle from your site.
You need to come up and see mee in 3 or 4 weeks for some fresh veggies..super duper sweet corn, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, tomatos, watermalon and cataloupe..my treat dammit! :) if you ever want my cell # let me know :)
Well the other things on the list may be difficult, but number 9 is easy. It's right here somewhere, I think, I know I spotted it just yesterday ... move a few things, it's bound to turn up ........
Oh that hot sauce looks awesome!
Paris doesn't say "hot" anymore. Her new thing is "huge". Lose a pound for every "hot" and you'll end up being "huge"
Thom: I may have enough garbage to start my own junkyard. Would anyone like to buy some empty water jugs and used aluminum foil?
Lynda: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who likes them!
GoingLikeSixty: Thank you... I'm perusing it now....
FallWhispers: I haven't forgotten you! :) The cantaloupe sounds good. :)
Jamie: It might be hidden behind my sofa, but I'm afraid to look.
Angela: I loved Taco Bell's Wild Sauce soooo much. A little part of me died when they stopped serving it. :) Here's hoping the new recipe comes close.
Metalmom: Really? Ok... Clearly I am not up to date on my current Parisology. :) Thanks for the update! That was huge! (see, it doesn't sound nearly as cool when I say it...)
Subtorp77: My mom suggests there's a possibility I may need trifocals as well. If I can ever afford the eye test (and the glasses), I'll find out. (And I'll be sure to blog about it!)
Janna, trifocals suck! I should know....i was born with a type of eye muscle impairment. I didn't have the ability to focus correctly. Took 8 years to correct it. But I still have my old BC Navy binoculars( see my avatar, closely HA! )
I can report that KGC is quite tasty.
If you can't find your CD, you can download from iTunes pretty cheaply.
Subtorp: I got my bifocals today! I'm going to blog about it pretty soon. I got the variable lenses. (Tried both kinds, liked those best) The doctor says that the gray area in between has sort of a "trifocal effect." Lovely! I'm strangely excited about this...
Travis: I still haven't tried KGC. I wish I had an internet connection good enough to download iTunes. Alas. I am still the queen of dial-up.
JAnna, huzzah! I think. Aren't the variable lens the ones without the lines? I had those monocular style ones, at first. Then the traditoinal lined ones. Hey, as long as you can see better, right?
