Manic Monday: Tree

The winter winds howl and sing
So cold I can't feel anything
Might be better for me
If I hid in a tree
And slept all the way until spring

I crawled on the limb in despair
In hopes I could hibernate there
I shivered... then what?
Just got shot in the butt
Some hunter thought I was a bear

Is that your warm cabin I see?
Can I come in? I've gotta pee.
I'll only stay
Til the first week in May
Will you share your hot chocolate with me?
.

Haha. I suppose I will not be hanging out on a cold tree branch.

Bear: So I see!!

AnthonyNorth: Glad to hear it. :)

Polly: The wind chill is awful up there!

DaOldMan: Yes! Do I also get a warm bed in a fully furnished guest room with down comforters and fluffy pillows and cable TV, or would that be pushing it? :)

TheFlyingMonkeys: I did! :)

Nice poem Janna. And I also wish snow tasted like gloriously yummy raspberries (does that go along with the bear theme?) Anywho, Kyle and I made some fabulous hot chocolate the other day, we'll have to make some for everybody once ABC starts back up!

MyAutismInsights: Glad you approve! :)

Morgian: Better yet, invite me up there and make me a gallon of hot chocolate while I sit and vegetate on your sofa!
