Bon Voyage
Today is the day Jason leaves for a 4-month trip to Ethiopia. He'll be staying with Chris, hopefully getting some valuable moments of music teaching experience at the International school where Chris works. He hopes to return home shortly before Christmas.
Also, one week from today, Morgen begins his beach-babe vacation over on the East Coast. He'll be gone from 9/11 to 9/22.
Bon voyage, guys. I hope you both have a wonderful time.
I will do my very best not to be insanely jealous. :)
Please come home safely.

I heard that people who blog about others leaving the country end up with pre-emptive insomnia and hallucinatory images about spinach.
Whall: That's fine, as long as the spinach leaves are in a nice fresh salad, with a delicious vinaigrette and real bacon crumbles. And garlic croutons.
What is it about Mo wanting to travel on September 11th?
DesertSongbird: I know, right? First Egypt, and now this!
It would be really selfish of us to convince Mo that Jaws lives at the beach... huh?
Thanks for the virtual send-off, Janna! And the cartoon is so true! Jason
Marilyn: Jaws DOES live at the beach. Especially in September. He goes there with his shark-kids right before back-to-school season. (Get it? Fish? School? HA!:) And he loves how Michigan people taste. (Morgen? Are you listening?)
Jason: Yaaay! Thank you for stopping by one last time before you leave. I'll miss you. Try not to get dysentery or malaria or whatever else they have over there. I'd warn you about sharks too, except you'll be right next to a desert...
Blood-sucking iguanas.
COOL!
Morgen: I know! Bring me back one!
