What's YOUR statue doing?

MM-banner20If someday there is a Wax Museum of bloggers, I hope to see all of you there.

For starters, I hope to see statues of the following bloggers doing the following things:

1) Travis, eating cake, hunched over a TV set which is playing some kind of dance-based reality show.

2) Morgen, being trampled by all five of his cats as he unsuccessfully tries to keep a package of "Temptations" kitty treats from them. Bigfoot peeks through a nearby window.

3) Meloncutter, playing guitar and lifting one leg to fart.

4) Steve, completing the last phase of his recent "colon cleanse" program.

5) MichaelC, crying tears of joy as he enters a room filled with cheese.

I could go on and on, but this post would be a mile long. Trust me, I want to see you there too. Yes, YOU. If you're not one of the five people I just mentioned, tell me in the comments how you would like your wax effigy to be posed!

Hmmm...I think I'd be sitting in a bathtub full of bubbly water so as no "parts" are exposed with candles all around me drinking a glass of wine. This is my dream, damn it and it could happen! *LOL*

EvilGenius: What would you be listening to?

CrazyWorkingMom: That sounds nice! I'd substitute sweet tea for the wine, but that's just me. :)

DesertSongbird: Hey, Steve's statue could be fascinating AND educational! Plus, if I'm lucky, it might also function as an appetite suppressant.

Maybe my statue could capture me in mid-waltz around a CAKE?

But what about a Janna statue?

Um, where is the microphone at?

Or do I get 2?

Later y'all.

I'll be in Tuscany on the patio of a lovely villa, sipping wine, eating something decadent and looking at the lovely Tuscan countryside while I chat with my SisterDears! Oh, yeah! Heaven!

Sitting in my rocking chair on my porch with my kitty in my lap eating a slice of NYStyle Cheesecake!

I would want to be sitting on the couch eating chocolate cookies and drinking port while reading a trashy novel. I never get to that with babies!

You are so clever. Now the peer pressure to give things more thought! Thanks. My wax figure....in reality it would be driving a van full of kids somewhere...in fantasy it would be sitting at the computer with a cold beer!

Honestly, that is how I want to be remembered. Thank you for laying out the blueprint for my grave marker.

Travis: My statue? Probably either playing french horn for my cats or drinking tea in a cemetery. The usual stuff.

Meloncutter: Wellll, it is harder to find the microphone these days, after the great SOY incident. Looks more like a vienna sausage with a string attached.

WillThink4Wine: Tuscany! I hear they have good chicken recipes there.

Kimmie: OOOhhhh! I LOVE NY cheesecake!!!

AfterHours: Yay for chocolate cookies and trashy novels!

MikeGolch: I play dulcimer too! I have one in my living room right this very moment. I've played dulcimer since I was 13!

Teach: Really? Are you worried it would drip into your nose and go up into your brain and kill you instantly or slowly suffocate you while you gasp for mercy? Yeah. I guess I can see that.

Gayle: We'll do the beer one.

MichaelC: If you want, we can carve cheese wedges into the gravestone...

I think I'll be sculpting a gnome out of cheese.

you just had to sneak bigfoot in there, didn't ya!
when I read the first sentence of this post, I thought it said "if someday there is a Wax Museum of boogers..."
Clearly I've had too much caffeine today!

Marilyn: Excellent!

Morgen: Cool! Boogers would be EASY to make out of wax. They're small and all you'd have to do is roll them around a little bit... here, lemme show you. Think you can sell these in your store? How much should I ask for them?
