Manic Monday: Egg

There were all kinds of things I could have done for today's theme.
I could've shown you a duck egg with a tail on it, or some strange kind of egg-bologna.
Over at Jantrails I show some neat eggshell carvings, and on Jantics I show the abomination known as Bacon-And-Egg Ice Cream.

I could also point out that if Humpty Dumpty and the Monopoly guy ever have a love child, it would look like this:

But instead I think I'll just make a list of
Things That Do NOT Belong In An Omelet:

1. Metal Shavings
2. Hand Sanitizer
3. Curtains
4. Murder Weapons
5. Post-Nasal Drip
6. A Black Hole
7. Suntan Lotion
8. Starfish
9. Sperm Donations
10. Bunny Fur
11. My tonsils
12. Extension Cords
Oh, and here are two Janna-heads on an egg.
No reason.

Nicely done on the egg art.

But what is in the photograph?

Travis said...

DOH! Nevermind. I get it now.

Janna said...

Travis: It's ok. Nobody's brain cells are actually working this late on a Sunday night anyway.

How do they get them there chickens to spooch out an egg that long and wrapped in plastic?

Must be some kind of genetic tampering going on.

That ain't right.

I wonder what them there chickens look like?

Later Y'all.

Love the Janna-heads on an egg! Happy MM!

I agree ! Your tonsils in my eggs is not very appetizing, lol !

Why did the egg go to school?

To get "egg-ucated".

Have a great Monday! Love your egg post! Come check out my poached post!

Heh heh. Janna-heads.

I just love the way your mind works. I really do. Very well done. Have an eggcellent MM. :)

That slicey egg thing is just WRONG.

Oh, and I ordered the single-headed Janna egg, over easy.

Egg-bologna? Oh come'on, Janna, I went to the link...I think they made it up out of candy or something...Great post! Funny! I went with funny too. :D

Love this post. Very interesting, strange and down right odd. Loved it.

Where can I get me some of that egg and bacon ice cream? Maybe the kids will finally eat breakfast. Not!

Pand0ra Wilde said...

That's one hell of an egg roll, yes?

I HAVE to point out to you that Humpty Dumpty and Monopoly Guy are both male, so could not have a child together... sigh.

Happy Manic Easter Monday.

Meloncutter: I agree, "That ain't right!"

Mariposa: Glad you like it!

Gattina: How about my spleen?

Deb: I like my posts scrambled instead of poached. :)

Mr. Fab: And here I thought for sure you'd mention something about the bunny fur...

Sandee: I'm glad someone out there likes the way my mind works. Do you have a brother, or a nephew, perhaps...?

Morgen: LOL! Instead of "over-easy", try thinking of me as "scrambled". Somehow it fits.

Bee: At least today I am! :)

Teach: No, I don't think it's candy. The link actually doesn't say anything ABOUT it at all; it's just a picture surrounded by ads. Where did you get the impression it's candy??? I really think it's some strange kind of egg-loaf, with the yolks in the center. Might come in handy if you needed to quickly chop up something for egg salad, I guess, and were too unmotivated to boil your own...

Onangelwings: Kids like weird things sometimes; y'never know!

Pand0ra: Exactly! Er, I mean, "Egg-zactly." (Sorry. I had to.)

Alice: Not necessarily! Never underestimate the advancements of modern science! I think these days they CAN extract DNA from two separate male hosts, and implant them into a donor egg from some volunteer, resulting in an embryo with characteristics of both males. Wasn't that on NPR awhile back? I could swear I read (or heard) about that somewhere....

Next time I go out to breakfast, I might skip the eggs...

That egg bologne looks cool! lol

Janna said...

MichaelC: Aw, c'mon! Be adventurous!

DrowsyMonkey: Strange, isn't it? :)
