Various Thoughts

1. If I had a pet parrot, it would be fun to teach him to say "Help! She's turned me into a bird!"

2. I've decided I really love Rice Krispies. If we could just find a way to combine Rice Krispies and Johnny Depp, I would never need to leave the house. Plus, those would be some YUMMY rice-krispy treats. Guess what I'd use instead of the marshmallow creme!

3. To the best of my knowledge, Fab has not yet read the meme I did (as a result of him tagging me). Thus I am thinking up an original meme of my very own, which I will be SURE to tag him with. If I mysteriously turn up missing shortly thereafter, keep this in mind, and search the shed behind his house.

4. Awhile back, I had a band-aid on my thumb. While writing, I got some green fountain pen ink on the bandage, and for awhile it looked like green blood had soaked through. Cool!

Oh the Parrot one is awesome. Now why haven't I thought of something like that?

The parrot one made me laugh.

The vulcan bandaid made me go "That's classic Janna"

I kept looking at that picture and thinking that it looked familiar...

I saw that picture and I thought, "Hey, that's Fab's back yard!" I'm a quick one, aren't I?

For some reason, your blog never lets me subscribe to comments the first time. :(

Have you been watching Pushing Daisies too?

Square1: I should post a top ten list of fun parrot sayings...

Morgen: I am always classic Janna!

Mr.Fab: There you are!!!

Shelli: As far as I know, you are the only one who subscribes to my comments. (At least no one else has ever told me). So I feel slightly more loved now than I did five minutes ago.

Gwen: Wow, I, uh, have no idea what that means... so I guess the answer is no!

I do! I gotta know what you say back. I'm kinda like, needy, that way.

Are you sure it was green ink and not mold?

Janna said...

The108: That's what I like to hear!!

Shelli: I can be the same way sometimes. We are a lot alike, I think. Except I'm probably a bit weirder.

Travis: I'm positive! It was fountain pen ink! It was not mold! If you'd been here, I would have let you smell it, just to be sure. I'm nice that way.

Oh, well your #1 indicated you'd been watching. But seeing as you haven't I will take this opportunity to tell you that Pushing Daisies is one of the best new shows I've seen in ages and you should be watching it. Do so now and I will not have to kill you.

Gwen: Oh, if only my TV worked. Even then, I don't have cable, so I might not be able to watch it anyway. The only time I watch TV is if I'm visiting friends or family. It's sad, I know. Feel free to send sympathy cards, or money, or something. Just make sure it's not Canadian money.

Gwen: LOL! My computer is far too ancient to download anything. I bought it back in 1998, I think. It's on its deathbed. It hardly has enough memory to run what it has now. If I asked it to download a TV program, a little hand would come out of the screen and point at me and laugh. I'll take your word for it that it's a good program, though! Sorry about the Canadian money joke. I was feeling jaunty. :)

Janna, you should. One of my favorites was actually done by a friend of my husband's. He taught his grandmother's parrot to say, "Polly want a crack-rock." Needless to say he landed himself in a world of trouble, but it's still funny none the less.

Aw, you're forgiven on the grounds that I pity you.

Gwen: All right! Pity! I'll take it! Yeah, baby! Gimme all ya got! More! More! More!

Square1: That's great! I wonder what the grandmother thought!
