I am still here

It's barely been two days since I left the blogosphere.
Feels more like a month.
Clearly I am an addict.
I suspect I will be resuming my previous posting regularity soon.

[insert age-joke about regularity]

In the meantime, feel free to read about cucumber Pepsi.
Click here and here for articles which discuss this lovely garden-fresh flavor.

Bonus: the second article also mentions aloe vera flavored sausages.
Finally, a sausage you can put on burns.

I'll just go on record now with my opinion about Ice Cucumber Pepsi.

GACK!

Blog as the mood strikes you dear.

Bee: Is that because I'm blogging again or because I've exposed the truth about cucumber Pepsi?

Travis: I like the freaky weird green color, but am not so sure I would like the taste.

That aloe flavored sausage sounds about as good as the Australian Lifesavers I had that was Musk flavored. Yeah, it tasted like you would think...just like musk smells. I wouldn't travel all the way to Australia for it.

Aloe Vera sausages are perfect for the BBQ... if you burn them, they self-heal.

And as an Aussie I'd like to point out that Musk Lifesavers are an acquired taste. Next you'll be saying that Vegemite has the look, smell and taste of old axle grease. Um... well it does, but again it’s an acquired taste.

Soda from a gourd... there's just something wrong with that all the way around.

I don't know how good cucumber soda would taste as a beverage, but I bet it'd make good vinaigrette.

You're feeling better? Good, Janna! I'm glad you'll return to blogging...wehat would we all do without you? Your marvelous wit?

Hm, wonder if I can make soap out of that shit... Do you know how much sugar there is per serving?

I guess cucumber Pepsi is for people a little too lazy to bite a cucumber?

Glad you are back on line. Just for the record 38 was one of the best years of my life. I hope the same holds true for you.

Are you serious? Pepsi has a cucumber flavor? Gack is right!

Why can't Pepsi just keep Cranberry Splash Sierra Mist year-round and quit dicking around with nasty flavors?!?!?

ps: I'm glad you're posting again, old woman!

You should have seen the shakes I had after four days of "quitting forever".

Amisare: I vaguely remember hearing something somewhere about Musk Lifesavers. I remember my reaction was "EW." Though it might have been "EW EW EW EW EW EW."

Angry: Vegemite does sound pretty awful, I gotta say. I'm afraid to Google pictures of it...

Square1: Exactly!

GolfWidow: I'd prefer my vinaigrettes to NOT be carbonated. :)

Teach: Well, not necessarily feeling "better," but let's just say I'm learning to bottle it all up like a pressurized can of soda which will undoubtedly explode someday in the distant future at the slightest provocation, causing an interesting news day for CNN.

PandOra: Good question!

Jamie: Well, biting a cucumber IS an awful lot of work...

Morgen: I got to try that Cranberry Sierra Mist last year! I liked it! You're right; it's good!

Lynda: You held out for FOUR days?? Wow!!
