Photo Hunters: Messy

Ok, so winter is here, which I guess is a bad thing for those of you who hate winter.
But let's look on the bright side.
This means that "Road Construction Season" is over!
Here are some pictures of road construction in Hillsdale this past summer. I hated it. It looked messy and it made traffic extremely bothersome.
Plus there were these giant pits in the road where they were digging, and I always worried that I'd spontaneously lose control of the vehicle and flip over into the giant hole, landing upside down. Then for some reason the workers wouldn't notice me and they'd just fill in the asphalt right over me, permanently sealing me into the earth until the NEXT road construction season. I'd be excavated and scientists would be called in to examine my remains. Unfortunately, the only thing they'd be able to agree on is the fact that this person had a really messy car.
But I'm not posting any pictures of that.
Hey, I would like to maintain SOME dignity.
.
.
On Jantics today, you can see a picture of my snowy driveway, and on Jantrails you can hear the story of a restaurant which treated our ABC group like crap.

Yes, I work in the construction industry for a while. It's somehow messy.

Mine is up too.

I know. That could, like really, happen and like they would keep all your stuff you know, and not notice your I.D., and your parental units wouldn't like be all cool, and like you know. Yeah, I know.
That happened one time - like you can Google That Buried Car!

Can we dig you out now?

Michele: I think the construction is worse, because at least the potholes don't hold up traffic during rush hour. :)

Jesie: Ah, so you know firsthand, then!

Rebecca: My sentiments exactly!

TokenHippyGirl: Thanks for stopping by! :)

Carver: Glad you stopped by too. Come again!

Napaboanlya: Embarrassing, yes; but I hope you didn't get hurt too badly!

Ellen: It would be nice if roads could magically repair themselves while we all slept through it. :)

GoingLikeSixty: I know! Like, tell me about it, like, that happens a LOT, y'know, like really! Like! Like, like? Like!

Kjls: Gimme a couple more weeks. It's nice and quiet down here.

Urggh I hate it...they're dusty!

Check my entry. It is about messy traffic too.

Janna said...

Che-Cheh: Dusty and often full of smelly pollution, too. Lots of exhaust. And the scent of fresh asphalt is awful. I swear, I'd rather smell my own farts than that stuff.
Is that TMI?

Ted: Traffic is often messy, isn't it? Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Don't we all just hate anything that will mess up our traffic, thus making us arriving at the destination late.

Road construction isn't over here on the East Coast. They stop when it snows and pick up again. You know what's really messy? old snow.

Happy New Year to you! You've been a great blogging friend.

It sure wouldn't be summer without road construction... terrific shot for the theme. Your commentary was a hoot as well!

Road constructions could really be messy. Great entry for the theme.

Happy New Year!

Trinity: Messy indeed!

Hootin'Anni: Exactly. I hate having to just SIT there in one-lane-traffic, waiting for the lane to open up.

DanielCTW: Well said!

Starz: Messy and inconvenient!

Team Tabby: Wow, that's what I just said! :)

Huey: Thanks. :)

LazyDaisy: The same seems to be true here in Michigan!

Satkuru: And it seems to take forever, too!

Teach: Happy New Year to you as well!

Denz: Thanks for stopping by!

Randi: Thanks. I wanted something other than the typical messy kid picture or messy desk picture, and that's what I found.

JC: Glad you liked it! :)

PrettyLifeOnline: Same to you! :)

Liza: Good to see you here as well!

SimpleLife: They always seem to be messy, don't they? I don't think I've ever seen a road construction zone which qualified as "neat." The end result is usually neat, of course, but in the meantime, bleccch!

Interesting interpretations of messy here, and on the other blogs. My city is currently undergoing a massive redevelopment. Once the Christmas/New Year period is over, the road construction and other projects will start up again. Ugh! Thanks for the visit - happy New Year.

Really, people, last time I saw her car I think I heard something screaming in the back seat...

Constructions could really make other's day a mess. But I'm really curious about your car. ^-^

Happy New Year!

Janna said...

Siani: Happy New Year to you too. Hope they finish the construction soon!

Morgen: HEY! Ignore the screams!!

Bisdakbabbles: The car IS pretty messy. My cars are always messy. That's just the way it is! :)
