Waiting for autumn
Less than a month to go, and summer will be over.
Thank goodness.
I am ready for the beauty of autumn... the crisp frosty mornings, chilly nights, colorful leaves, the sights and scents of harvest time out here in the country...
And of course, there's our annual tradition where we all get together and send hate mail to the sun for making us suffer through yet another hot humid summer.
Or, wait.... maybe it's just me who does that.

No, I'm pretty sure Lee does that, too.
MMMmmmmmm I LOVE Fall---crisp air but the ground is still warm--football--the smell of leaves and fires wafting from chimneys --ah so lovely
Morgen: Ah, yes, of course...
Turnbaby: And fresh crisp sweet apples eaten on a slightly gray midmorning when the leaves are orange and the air is just a bit nippy...
Hmmmm. We're starting to get some of those crisp mornings. I think we had 3 days of summer here in the pacific northwest.
Fall is my favorite time. Absolutely. But I don't send hate mail to the sun.
It will be here soon. This drought is awful in the south.
I know you will hate me, but I like summer. I get cold easy. Fall just means it's too cold for me to be comfortable and not cold enough to build a fire in the wood stove yet.
Don't know we had a few high temp days in the Pacific Northwest, we had to have fans blowing we were so hot.
Travis: If the Pacific northwest is cooler than Michigan, I wanna live there!
Mimi: Aw, go on, try sending hate mail to the sun. You'll be glad you did!
Marilyn: Ugh. You sound like my mom. She's always cold too.
Michael: Exactly why I hate summer!
and.. and..... FOOTBALL!!!
Hurry up Fall!
Cheesy: Well, I hate football, but hey, if it makes you excited about fall, then go for it!
