Ok, so let me make sure I understand this...

So it's NOT socially acceptable to defrost a leg of lamb by stuffing it into bodily orifices while sunbathing on my front lawn in the nude?

How come I'm always the last to know these things?

I was wearing sunscreen, though; surely that should count for something.

I suspect it depends on exactly WHICH orifice you've stuffed it into...

I think those metal trays are supposed to be more effective anyway. Though, I have not conducted a study on the subject.

Yup. Speechless. Again.

Must be a Michigan law.

Morgen: Well of course I had to test them ALL out to see which ones worked best...

Marilyn: I wonder why NPR never talks about this on "Science Friday".

Travis: Mission accomplished! :)

Mr. Fab: Probably some weird outdated thing left over from the 1800's.

I'm laughing out loud about your NPR "Science Friday" reference.
Ha!
Aren't you glad some other NPR dweeb, er, listener -- besides you gets it?!?

You're kidding! I didn't know about this either. Glad I tied a string around the leg of lamb for easy removal. Ooo...I kinda just grossed MYSELF out! I guess I just can't keep up with you.

But that is the best way to defrost any kind of meat. They don't allow that in Michigan? I better check Indiana's books.

Morgen: Yay! I love NPR nerds!

Steve: Excellent foreplanning with the string. Good idea. The people at the E.R. will appreciate that when you have to go in.

Lynda: Write to your congressman if you have to!
