Theoretical Astrophysics Moment

If the universe is an ever-expanding sphere, then why aren't our eyeballs being slowly pulled out of our skulls?
Hey... maybe that's what's causing my migraines!

the force of expansion has not yet overcome the effects of gravitational, strong, and electro-weak nuclear forces. that and natalie is just too cute to destroy.

Mr. Fab: I don't think anyone's ever called me "Professor" before. You're the first!

Onionboy: I think you and Natalie need to just get a room and be done with it. :)

It's because our heads are expanding with our eyeballs. This is most notable while the skull is still soft in children and so each generation has more brainroom than its parents and is therefore smarter. This is why kids always think think Mom and Dad are idiots.
