How to make Janna go away

As I stepped outside this evening, I noticed that there was a nice breeze, and the temperature was on the upper end of my comfort zone, but still decent enough to qualify for "comfy". I found it curious, because it really was on the edge-- one more degree and I probably would have said "Ugh, this is getting kinda warm." In fact, if there wasn't a good breeze, I probably WOULD have thought it was too warm.
So I made a point of checking the temperature when I drove by the bank.
It was 72 degrees.
So if I'm ever visiting your homes, and you get sick of me, and want me to leave immediately, just crank up the thermostat to 73 and turn off any nearby fans.
I will leave.
I promise.

72 degrees? Do I detect a slight warming trend in your preferences?

Well, I guess it's always nice to have some kind of signal to let the guest know it's getting late. Still, our house is whatever tempurature it is in the summer. Sometimes it gets up to 80 in here.

My husband and I fight a constant battle because I need the A/C in the lower 70's and he puts it at 78. 78? 78!!! Then he wonders why I am cranky. LOL

I'm the opposite. I don't like to leave the house from november to may because it's to chilly!I just drink to stay warm, and it doesn't work, so I drink more....

You're right: it was our first hot day (fortunately the humidity was low) but the breeze in the evening made it quite palatable.

Cincy Diva: Kindred spirit!

Desert Songbird: Ackk!!!

Mr. Fab: Promise?

Peanut: Too warm for that early in the morning!!! :o

Steve: No, I think it's just because of the breeze. If there hadn't been such a good breeze, I would've thought 72 was too warm. I still prefer the mid-60's!

Marilyn: I don't have AC either, and it's always at least ten degrees hotter indoors! I feel like I'm being sauteed in the summertime! :(

Lynda: Smack him for me. Please.

Metalmom: Chilly is GOOD! But keep on drinking anyway.

Morgen: I hate summertime! I wanna move to Canada!

Natalie: I live in Michigan, but I wanna move to Canada! :) At least from May to October, that is.
