Farewell to my I.V.

Today was my last day of IV antibiotics at the hospital!
My arms/wrists are now completely bare! No more needles or IV's or anything!
All gone! All done!
I still have about a week's worth of the Cipro, which I have to take twice a day.
Today the leg was more red and swollen than yesterday, but the ER people didn't seem too alarmed by it, so I won't worry.
I'll just keep doing what I'm supposed to do...

Completely unrelated thought: I am now craving lemon sherbet with blueberry preserves on top.

Glad you survived the IV. I hope the leg recovers swiftly now.

Not really a lemon sherbet fan, but it sounds good now that our temps have hit the 100 degree mark...

So, are you going to begin looking for a regular doctor now? :)

Congrats on getting through the IV! Now stay away from any 2-liter bottles until that leg completely heals!!

don't worry, I'm standing by with my trusty rusty hacksaw in case it makes another turn for the worse!

(hey, what are friends for???)

Cincy Diva: It got eaten a LONG time ago!!!

Desert Songbird: 100 degrees??? I would absolutely melt into a big wet puddle of unattractive grease.

Mr. Fab: Only if I get to suck on yours too...

Lynda: Maybe.

Steve: There are two 2-liter bottles in my fridge right now, and I can hear them both mocking me.

Morgen: If I ask nicely, will you at least brush the rust off first?

Travis: I'll drink to that!

I just read the saga of your poor leg. Ouch. I stepped on a toothpick once and a tiny piece broke off and I wound up with the strange line running up my leg - blood poisoning.
I'm glad you're over the very worst of it but what a torturous trip!
And migraines, too? My nemesis. And weather - anything over 65 is too hot for me! So, I live in the middle of a desert.
I think you deserve lemon sherbet with blueberries and so much more!
~~~Blessings~~~
Amazing Gracie: I agree with you on the temperatures-- 65 is perfect! :)
