For anyone who still cares about the leg thing
I forgot to update everyone on the leg situation in my last post, so I'll just give a quick update right now for anyone who's curious:
It's healing v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y. The hospital said to expect that, though, so I'm not worried.
I joked to a friend that the pace of my healing makes glaciers look like hummingbird wings.
I still have to change the bandages at least twice a day.
Sometimes my leg starts feeling really hot for no apparent reason, like I have a fever there. Weird.
I'm still taking the antibiotics; I was given 7 days worth. I'll be done with them on Thursday.
The muscles (or whatever) around my shin are still sore; it hurts to move my foot around.
But I expect I will be ok. At this point it hurts MUCH less than a migraine. And it's not constant pain anymore, just occasional. Usually right after I change the bandages, it hurts like an S.O.B. for awhile. Or if I accidentally brush it up against something.

I hope from now on you will be smart and do what I do. I only buy soda in cans. I get those gravity feed twelve packs. They're quite handy!
Those gravity feeds are cool - just watch the way you put them in the fridge so that the cans don't roll out on your toes!
Mr. Fab: You do realize, of course, that I would end up dropping the entire 12-pack on my foot. Are you trying to cripple me? Who sent you?
Travis: For some reason I'm not a big fan of drinking soda from cans. Something about not being able to see through them the way you can with bottles. I like to see what I'm going to drink before I drink it. And I'm too lazy to pour it from a can into a glass. :)
If you scarred another letter in your other leg, you'd almost have your monogram. Just not sure where the middle letter would go???
Steve: "J" on right leg. Half of "E" on right leg. Other half of "E" on left leg. "F" on left leg.
I suppose you can ice it when it feels hot. At least it is less hurty.
I'm glad it's healing, however slowly. It can't last forever.
Lynda: "Less Hurty" pretty much sums it up.
Marilyn: True!
Poor baby.
It is funny though how you got your wound.
Hope the healing starts speeding up though.
Danielle: "Funny"? As in "humorous", or "bizarre"?
