Example of how my mind works
Once upon a time Timmy went to the store to buy a hamster. There were no hamsters left, so he bought a bunch of celery instead. He named the celery "Buddy", and gave it a happy home in the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
That evening his mother made a salad, and Timmy saw her slicing up the celery.
"Stop!" He shouted in horror. "What are you doing?!"
His mother shrugged. "I know. The hamster would have tasted better."

Warped and twisted - yup, that's our Janna!
Good stuff!
As long as you don't serve hamster and celery together, because that's just weird.
Desert Songbird: I try.
Gregg: Thank you! :)
Mr. Fab: Especially if it's been cooked for too long.
Except for the scary ass freak eyes that won't go away from your header - I really like the new font & colors for "The Jannaverse"
I repeat: how much ice cream do you need to be bribed with to remove the freaky eyes?
They make the hamster tale (tail?) pale in comparison...
Morgen: The eyes will remain up there until every man, woman, child, and carbon-based life form has voted for me as the FREAKIEST BLOGGER!!!!!!
Now I am wondering what would make the best dressing for hamster and celery?
Michael: Raspberry Vinaigrette works rather well.
I never did enjoy hamster salad, like some people.
Something in the flavor of it.
Lynda: if you skin them before you dice them with the celery, then that gets rid of most of the "cedar bedding" aftertaste.
What, Janna's the only one who can make hamster-eating references here?
Hilarious! Funny as anything I have ever read!
::backing away with a smile on my face, making no sudden moves as I search for the nearest exit::
Lynda: It's a delicacy in Papua New Guinea...
Morgen: I HATE cedar-bedding aftertaste... Yes, skin them AND soak them in marinade for a few hours as well. Does anyone need some recipes?
Cincy Diva: No, wait! Come back! You haven't tried my salad yet!
I think I would be a vegetarian. I can barely eat the deer meat my husband has in the freezer. Blah!
Lynda: I wonder if it tastes gamey...
