Tarantula, Eyelash, Dingleberry...
"Dangle, Mortify, Stink, Cholesterol, Monkey..."
"What are you doing?"
"I'm in a bad mood today, so I'm listing all the words I can think of that don't rhyme with orange."
"But nothing rhymes with..."
"Spleen, Garlic, Coccyx, Antidisestablishmentarianism, Fart, Dagger, Exsanguinating... Wait, is ear wax one word or two?"
"Maybe I should come back tomorrow."

Some words are definitely hopeless to find rhymes to!
I actually looked it up. No rhymes. Nearest rhymes? Syringe. Also listed: Austin, bobble, coral ?? !!
I think it wise you took the route you did! :)
Mary: It's like the word "orange" keeps going to singles bars and just can't find anyone who wants him...
(*sob*)
Margaret: Wow, "syringe" isn't bad, I guess. But that would be one freaky poem!
(Austin? Bobble? Coral? ...really?)
Janna...
Your conundrums sometimes gives me a headache!
But I did love your wordy 55
Thanks for playing, you are always so clever and funny. You are like being the 11th caller on your local Radio station's win a trip to Toledo contest with the winner being the 11th caller!!
Have a Kick Ass Week-End
This is excruciatingly, exsanguinatingly amusing--and though the first line of my 55 ends with orange, I'm old enough to know better than to try to rhyme it with, like, 'forage,' or 'poor George' or even ear wax. ;_)
They said there would be days like this.
So that's how Antidisestablishmentarianism and Fart end up together. I was so sure the word "old" would be between them.
What a great way to pass some time and bring a smile to someone's face. Always love your 55s.
borage. nope. solange. nope. forage. nope, unless it's borage you're rhyming. how about silver and purple?
My attempts at rhyme are so poor...it doesn't matter what rhymes with what...this made me smile :)
Orange. Porridge.
Now I want some cream of wheat!
Your 55's always make me smile.
Just think of how an orange feels. The only fruit without a rhyme. Sad. Think I'll have a banana.
This made me chuckle.. and I scored 140 with your plinko but don't know what's good.
G-Man: Sadly, I'm so poor I doubt I could even do anything once I got to Toledo!
Hedgewitch: "Poor George"... LOL! :)
Kerry: They did?
Alice: Surprise!
razzamadazzle: Thanks for visiting! :)
grapeling: Wow, silver and purple are hard too!
Susie:
Hooray for haiku
Where rhyming doesn't matter
If poets can count
Yvonne: Maybe if it was orange-flavored porridge, it could be called "porrange"... and THEN it would rhyme.
nonamedufus: At least they both still have ap-peel.
(See? I just made myself groan!)
Mary: 140 is very good. Thanks for visiting and playing!
