Number eight is very important

I'll be house-sitting for mom and dad Wednesday through Saturday.
This means I will be conspicuously absent from the blogosphere for a few days.
I do expect to be able to stop back at home for a little while each day, so I can feed the cats and post a couple new R.E.M. things on my Tumblr.
It's possible the Jannaverse will remain empty until Saturday evening.

I realize that for the vast majority of homo sapiens on this planet, that will make absolutely no difference whatsoever.

(*wipes away tear*)

If you're one of the rare few who actually looks forward to reading my posts, here are some things you could do while you wait for me to return:

1.  Trim your toenails
2.  Drink tomato juice
3.  Alphabetize your pets and get them to stay that way for at least 20 minutes
4.  Make bracelets out of macaroni, then take a hot bath until they're ready to eat
5.  Clean out your freezer
6.  Change socks for no reason
7.  Write the Pythagorean Theorem in the dust on a stranger's car
8.  Leave the toilet seat down

See you on Saturday or Sunday!

nonameduus: I thought all Canadians wore socks. Please don't destroy my fragile delusions.

G-Man: And yet you just did!

nonamedufus: As Bach always said, don't change it if it isn't Baroque.
