I keep forgetting to move to Canada

This week has been pleasantly chilly, with temperatures ranging from the 30's to the 60's.
I love being pleasantly chilly.

If you've been reading my ramblings for any length of time, you know I hate hot weather. And by "hot" I mean pretty much anything over 73 degrees F. (Even that can be bad if there's humidity.)

Don't even get me started on the hideous evil that is the 80's and 90's.

(The 80's were a nice decade with lovely music, but as a temperature it makes me begin to shrivel like a raisin. Or plump up like a prune. Or something like that. Work with me here.)

The 90's must not even be mentioned, lest they overhear and think they've been invited.

I realize this means I'm a temperature-wuss. I realize some of you guys live in climates where the temperatures can get way up into the hundreds. It's a wonder any of you are still alive. You scare me.

Anyway, the reason I'm bringing this up is because next week we're supposed to start getting temperatures in the 70's.

It's begun; this awful yearly event known as "summer".

And here I was hoping we could have a year where we skipped from spring directly into autumn.

Sigh.

Hey, I feel for ya. It was 82 Fahrenheit here yesterday and it's not even May! Yep, it's gonna be a hot one this summer.
