Happy Thoughts

1. Now that my power AND my water are back on (after last week's ice storm), I'm able to shower as often as necessary to prevent air pollution. I know you're all grateful.

2. Yesterday I had ice cream, to help soothe my worn out nerves. Ice cream is a miracle substance in this regard. You should try some.

3. "Guggenheim" is fun to say over and over and over again.

4. After using a kerosene heater for four days during the power outage, my entire home smells like kerosene. The happy news is that I have not suffocated yet, though I do occasionally have moments when I dance for no reason and tell the cats to call me "Blinky".

5. Even as we speak, gravity is preventing me from crashing into the ceiling.

6. Blueberry paczki = yummy!

7. Occasionally there are cows who stand out in the pasture and gossip about you. They are merciless. Thankfully, their numbers are steadily decreasing, due to places like McDonalds, Arby's, and, to a lesser extent, Taco Bell.

8. I want a nap.

MonkeyMan: Along with the rest of Michigan, apparently! It's pretty common to use them indoors here. Makes the whole place stink, but at least we're warm.

It'd be even more fun to say "Guggenheim paczki, Guggenheim paczki, Guggenheim paczki...well you get the idea.
