Dear world:

1. To the person who invented tacos: I love you.

2. To the guy who tailgated me on the way home, who finally decided to pass: Yes, I was drinking, but it wasn't what you thought. It was Strawberry-Apricot Lifewater. Really and truly. All the same, thanks for finally getting off my bumper.

3. To the couple in line ahead of me at the store (the one smooching and kissing and groping): Wow, look at all this bile I'm about to throw up...

4. To anyone Canadian out there: Please tell me poutine doesn't taste as bad as it looks.

I think poutine looks tasty! Have you ever tried "wet" fries--fries with brown gravy and cheddar cheese? I'll bet it's about the same thing, and it's delicious. Tacos are delicious, too, and recently Del Taco here in town has been selling them for 39 cents each. That means you can get 10 tacos for less than $4. It's a true bargain, and it makes me smile.

P.S. -- Sorry about making out with my wife at the grocery store. We were really horny, and really hungry. It's never a good idea to go shopping when you're horny and hungry. You always get more than you need.

Poutine? The heart attack on a plate? Mmmmmm. Delicious. It's a national gourmet experience where I come from. If the curds, gravy and fries aren't enough you can always add chunks of smoked meat. *burp*

MikeWJ: I like fries with gravy. I like fries with cheese. It's the idea of mixing it all together that sounds so awful to me. Especially since I've heard that the cheese curds "squeak" when you bite into them.

Invisible Seductress: Ooooh, yes; soft pretzels with hot cheese sauce. I agree.

nonamedufus: Wow. (!) It's something I could probably force myself to try once, despite my squeamishness, just so I could blog about it. Alas, we have no poutine here in Michigan.

Steve: (*gasp*) You too? Really?

Curds squeak? That really doesn't sound appetizing. I don't like food that squeaks.

MikeWJ: Scary, isn't it?
