Quick question....

Ok, I have a question for those of you on Twitter.
There used to be a thing at the bottom of each page where you could click for the list to continue if you wanted to check tweets that happened earlier.
But that seems to be gone now.
I'm stuck with just the most current page worth of tweets, and no way to read older ones.
What happened?
How do we read archives now?
What evil thing did they do while I was asleep and dreaming of bacon?
.

When I scroll to the bottom, it keeps adding more previous posts. It seems to do this endlessly.

Shelly: Freaky! No, unfortunately it doesn't do that for me. What I have discovered is that sometimes it does give me a button that says "MORE". If I click on that, the archives show up. But the button isn't always there. I wonder why it's gone sometimes?
I bet the dinosaurs never had to deal with problems like this.

How odd. As for the dinosaurs, we might've discovered the real reason they went extinct!

Yeah, I'm with Shelly. The "new twitter" keeps adding previous tweets when you get to the bottom of the page. There's no "More" no more. (heh, heh)

Same for me as with Shelly - went back as far as Oct 19th, still loading more...I got bored and moved on...

Are you using the new format? If so, it should just keep scrolling endlessly.

Shelly: Finally, the dinosaur mystery is solved!

nonamedufus: Weird. It doesn't work that way for me at all. It doesn't automatically add new tweets. I have to click on the "More" button, which DOES sometimes show up. I wonder why it works differently for you guys?

Grace: Odd!

Steve: Strange!

Janna, maybe it's the browser you're using? It seems to scroll automatically for me in both Firefox 3.6 and Chrome.

Shelly: I've got Firefox 3.6 also. The mystery deepens.
Thankfully, it's not that huge of a deal as long as the "More" button shows up at least part of the time. I just keep refreshing the page until it finally shows up. :)

I guess only the dinosaurs know the answer to it! :)
