I'd try it myself, but it makes my eyes itch

Once upon a time there was an ostrich named Gorvel, who lived on a beach.

Gorvel loved putting his head in the sand.

One day his friend Angie asked him "Wouldn't it be better to look up instead?"

Gorvel snickered. "No. So far I've found four hundred dollars the tourists dropped, plus a gold watch."

Whall: Awww! And we miss you here at The Jannaverse too. It's got 100% less Whall since you left.

Janna... Gorvel is an anagram for Vogerl, you are so clever.
You are like finding the jannaverse after having the worst day ever and really needing a laugh!
Thanks baby for your comedic brilliance...You Rock!
Have a Kick Ass Week-End, and God Bless America!

Lucky Gorvel. Sometimes sticking your head in the sand pays off. Hey, where' the Chinese guy today?

See? We don't need no stinkin' metal detectors!

Funny, clever and a good look at the other side or underside, if you will

LOL. Great last line. Besides, ostriches will be ostriches.

G-Man: I dunno about comedic brilliance but I'm still glad you stopped by. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day. :)

Greyscale Territory: I love logical things. :)

BrianMiller: For four hundred bucks I'd probably do it too. Never mind the gold watch.

nonamedufus: My Chinese spammer appears to be absent today, thank goodness. Spam is evil and oppressive, just like onions and rising gas prices.

PattiKen: Exactly! We just need cooperative ostriches!

John's Comments: I guess this way their carbon footprint is smaller. Or something like that.

MonkeyMan: Here, have a Q-Tip and some glue... No, wait; maybe that's a bad idea.

Grace: Yay! :)

Eric Alder: Good point! Yes, that's probably it! Look for Gorvel on that TV show about the "Pawn Stars".

Nara: Protective eyewear would be a great idea! Why didn't I think of that?

AliceAudrey: Especially the rich ones.

Gorvel? Where'd that name come from? I'm going to Google it and see if it comes up anywhere.

You made me laugh, Janna.

MikeWJ: It's always a beautiful day when I can make someone out there laugh. And it's a special bonus when it's you! I think it has something to do with either the half-Britishness or the appreciation of BBQ.
