Are you sure you can't stay for dinner?

"I've finally found something that tastes worse than fat-free cheese," Miranda said excitedly. "Here, try this sawdust mixed with ear wax."

"Eww!" Cried Jillian. "Why on earth would you DO that?!"

"Because afterward, in comparison, the fat-free cheese tastes pretty good," explained Miranda as she then sat down to eat her afternoon snack in peace.

Love it! Actually FF cheese shouldn't even be called food. It's like chocolate-free chocolate.

Even my dog wouldn't eat fat free cheese and you know dogs will anything!

I say that to my family when ever I take to a roadside food-stop rather then a restaurant. I'm not cheap - it's educational!

My story is here.

Awesome! You had me saying, "Ewww," and then "Aha!" Can't fault that logic. Very funny.

My 55 is Sackcloths of Despair

Changnoi: Fat free cheese? I have tried it! It's sort of like orange rubbery plastic.

StanSki: They're on sale this week for 99 cents! $1.29 if you want bacon with that.

Brian: And the sawdust has plenty of fiber, too!

G-Man: Oreos DO sound good... Though even the double-stuf ones have hardly any filling in them these days. I think they've tried cutting costs and have skimped on us a bit.

Yvonne: I agree completely!

Grace: Dogs will even eat cat poop, which proves once and for all that fat-free cheese tastes worse than cat poop.

Titanium: And full of fiber!

Sh@KiR@ CK: Even "real" cheese has a ton of sodium, but I agree with you that that fake stuff can't possibly be healthful. Just gimme the real stuff, with the real fat & sodium, I say! :) I've lost 43 pounds since December, and I've done it eating real food with real fat and sugar and salt. I feel much better! :)

John: LOL... some of those places are pretty educational, aren't they?

Hootin'Anni: It is truly nasty indeed!

Peter Stone: Terrific! "Ewww" and "Aha!" were exactly the reaction I was going for. :)

VodkaLogic: I agree; fat free dairy is pretty bad. I don't mind the reduced-fat varieties sometimes, but cheese/milk/yogurt needs to have at least SOME fat in it before it tastes "right".

GM: Terrible and unforgettable AND full of fiber. :)

Could be worse....ever had chittlins? Magnificent 55. My 55 is HERE.

Gross! But then, just about everything artificial is gross. Except maybe an Astroturf lawn. You don't have to mow it, and the pink plastic flamingos look so great on it.

What is it with ear wax, anyway?

Buzzard said...

You know fat-free anything sends a message to both brain and stomach.."AVOID THIS!"

Janna said...

MamaZen: Indeed! :)

Marilyn: How many copies can I put you down for?

MonkeyMan: Ewwww, no, I've never eaten chitlins, but I've heard about them! :0

PattiKen: An astroturf lawn would be great! Until it came time to get rid of all the leaves in Autumn.

MikeWJ: Human bodies produce some pretty gross stuff, don't they?

Buzzard: Amen!
