Various Thoughts

1. I've finally answered all the comments you left this past week (and some before that, even). Sorry it's taken me so long. I love comments, and I like answering them. Forgive my delay. I'll understand if you decide NOT to leave money and chocolate on my porch this week.

2. Last Friday I decided to try one of the new "Panini Grilled Sandwiches" from Domino's. I picked the "Sweet Habanero Chicken" one, because I love hot things, sweet things, and chicken. It sounded great. Alas, it was not good at all. It consisted of chicken, cheddar cheese, pineapple, and jalapeno peppers (NOT habaneros). There was also some almost-flavorless pepper sauce that was meagerly placed on top. Not hot, by any stretch of the imagination. Believe me, I know what real habaneros taste like. I've eaten them raw. I have some in the refrigerator right now. They have a very distinctive flavor. This sandwich had none of that flavor. Boo, Domino's. Boo.
(Note to self: Never, ever eat anything again that mixes cheddar cheese with pineapple.)

3. To the couple sitting next to me in the restaurant on Saturday: Your kids are screeching. They're making that high-pitched supersonic toddler screech that convinces dogs to bite the next person they see. They're also making it terribly hard for me to enjoy my chips and salsa. I'm amazed that you don't even seem to notice them. Everyone else in the restaurant also keeps looking over in your direction. Believe me, they notice too. For goodness sakes, wake up and make your kids behave themselves in a public place. The world will thank you, once we get our hearing back.

4. I've had a headache for the past 24 hours and am pleased to announce that it is finally, finally gone. Let's all rejoice! (Without high-pitched shrieking, that is.)

5. I read a little bit of Russian, and can speak a little bit of Russian, since I took two semesters of it in college. But I still can't understand it well enough to figure out why this guy keeps using "Prison" as the title of each and every blog post.

1. You're welcome. But money? Chocolate? I was gonna leave this amazing cheddar cheese pineapple dip.

2. Thanks for the warning.

3. Maybe the dog will eat the shrieker, and everyone will be happy.

4. Glad the headache is gone. Maybe the dog did eat... no, no, never mind.

5. Maybe it should be тюрьма...

Thank you for all the great posts from last year! I look forward to reading your blog, because they are always full of information that I can put to use. Thank you again, and God bless you in 2010.

You suppose Admin actually reads you? I mean, I put your information to use... new words, funny pictures, hot recipes... but I don't trust this Admin person. She should have said, "I love reading your blog and I laugh out loud almost every time I visit". ---because anybody who reads your blog would say that. Also, I love it when you answer comments.

Don't you hate how some parents love going out to eat so much that they don't care if their annoying little turdlings ruin the dining experience for everyone else?

Have you been busy? Because I've been busy, too. A lot of people seem busy, in fact. What's up with that?

P.S. -- That prison blog has got to be one of the most interesting--and weirdest--blogs I've ever seen. I hope he doesn't know where we live now that we've visited his site, because I suspect that would suck for us.

PattiKen: тюрьма... Prison! Yes! Prison... which is the only acceptable place for cheddar cheese pineapple dip.

Admin: Marilyn's right... you've never read this blog at all, have you? :o

Marilyn: What nice things to say! Thank you!

Chris: LOL! "Turdlings"!! How funny!

MikeWJ: It's almost like an epidemic....

MikeWJ: So true. Here's hoping he lives over in Russia and can't afford plane tickets.
