I have a dream....
More precious than saffron, emeralds, or three hours with the celebrity of your choice: Actually being able to speak to a real live human being when calling customer service and tech support.
Just imagine how truly amazing it would be if they spoke fluent English, cared what you said, and could actually fix the problem!

lol. an all too real 55. very rarely does it seem like service. smiles.
my 55 is up!
How You Do?
I'm Rahkamani BijouBamakan..You call me 'Jerry'!
No offense to any cultural groups, the ones to blame are the cheap ass companies that do not provide proper customer service.
Excellent 55 Janna!!
You set this mood PERFECTLY!
You are The Rossetta Stone, in a Sea of Hieroglphics!
Thanks for playing, and have a KICK Ass Week-End...G
Oh, Janna, you tease! A live being who answers, speaks intelligible English AND can fix a problem? Sounds like Barbie's dream date...well, maybe mine.
Awesome 55! I agress with you 100%!
Touch' Janna ~ VERY well expressed!
I'm up:
Friday Flash 55 ~ Checkmate
I think I remember doing this...back in '73 (that would be 1973 )...
Ha! So true. But then again, my neighborhood association switched from Comcast cable to another company that was less expensive and they actually answer the phone, in English, with intelligence, and fix the problems! I was so scared and confused I nearly hung up...
Dream on...you little cock-eyed optimist, you...
LMAO @ VE's comment! And the fact you've got Chinese spam( cue crashing gong sound! )
he,he, i hate it when they start telling me what to do!!
'please press 1 for ...' oh that just pisses me off and then i have to hold the line for the next available!!
great post!!
Brian: I think service probably died sometime back in the 70's. Maybe early 80's. And I didn't even get invited to the funeral.
G-Man: Very true, in a weird sort of way. :)
Ronda: That could be next year's big toy: "Barbie's Customer Service and Tech Support Dream Castle."
Chinese Spam Guy Who I Deleted: Go outside and get some fresh air.
Realliveman: Welcome, and thank you for agreeing! :)
ChefKar: I know it probably didn't qualify as "humor" this week, but it's true anyway, like you said. :) Thanks for visiting! :)
Subby: I was three years old in 1973. McDonalds served stuff in styrofoam containers, there was unleaded AND leaded gasoline, and candy bars were only 25 cents.
VE: In English? With Intelligence? And they fix the problem??? Wow. I may be moving out there to the West coast in a few hours, then. Look for me. I'll be the one covered in cat hair.
Grace: LOL! I don't think anyone has ever dared to call me that before! :o
Subby: I came home today and saw the spam and heard the gong. I deleted the spam, and the gong is still ringing in my ears anyway. It may be awhile before I can eat egg rolls again.
CleanAndCrazy: I hate all that stuff too. Especially when it gets all the way up to "press 8, press 9," and they still haven't addressed my particular reason for calling.
That is a 55 that needs to come true.
Flash 55 - Buried Secrets
That was awesomely true. Imagine actually getting any of that? LOL
I'm up right HERE
HA! I was getting candy bars for 15 cents :D and was using leaded gas in my '72 Malibu up 'til 1986( when they finally phased it out )
Anybody remember paying less than a dollah for a gallon of gas?
Nessa: Truly!
Susan: I can dream! :)
Subby: I vaguely remember gas being somewhere around 55 cents (?) back in the early 70's. By the time I got to college, it was 89 cents. I remember being annoyed when it reached a whole dollar per gallon. (!!)
Janna, 65 cents for leaded back in '86. Mom remembers the "gas wars" where it was so cheap, twobits would get ya a couple gallons! Cheaper than milk, for sure...
Muahahahahahahah...
silly, silly girl.
They don't WANT the problems fixed, and they have you right where they want you..hanging on their every word.
Enjoy it while you can...
(Grand 55 !!)
that do not provide proper customer service.
Work From Home
Subby: True!
Akannie: Also true!
Nishant: True again! :)
(Wow, that was easy!)
