Things I forgot to do last winter
1. Move to Florida
2. Buy a year's supply of hot chocolate
3. Build snowman and drizzle yellow food coloring in various spots just to make people wonder.
4. Avoid slipping and falling on my butt
5. Convince loved ones to send me crates full of fruit for no reason
6. Make snowballs with various hairstyles, using black and orange cat hair

Lee: He cracks me up too. I sketched him in the margin while I was writing the post (using the ancient method of paper and pencil). I knew I had to make a JPG version of him so I could include it in the post. :)
Food coloring! Why not just pee on him...or I could do it for ya cause you know the aiming thing & all.

Sorry to hear about winter. I think it's very cold where you live, which I think is up north somewhere if I remember correctly. The good news is that in 10 to 20 years, it should be quite nice there, even in February. Unless you're a snowman. It won't be so nice for them. It'll be worse for them than being made out of yellow snow.

MikeWJ: If having two cats counts as being a "cat lady", then yes indeed I am. :) As for living "up north", I'm a Michigan chick. Does that count? How long til the global warming sets in? Can you go outside and burn a few gallons of diesel fuel to make it happen a few days faster? Empty a few aerosol cans if you have to.
