Various Thoughts

1. Tailgaters are like the dog poop on the shoe of life.

2. Since root beer floats are so popular, why isn't there root beer flavored ice cream? And if there is, why can't I find any?

3. For any of you who are interested in the obscure details of my life, you may be interested in knowing that I plan to buy light bulbs tomorrow.

4. It would be more fun to stop at stop signs if they were hot neon pink.

5. Tailgaters are also the suspicious curly hair on the unwashed motel sheets of life.

Oh good, I was wondering what you were doing tomorrow.

Are you crazy?! Root beer ice cream would put root beer floats out of the market! We can't have that now! A&W would protest!!!

But there are root beer flavored jelly bellies, so that's something.

MikeWJ: So far, I'm leaning toward 100-watt "soft white" incandescent. Possibly GE, unless it's too expensive, in which case I'll take the cheap kind. Also, today I'm wearing a lavender shirt with black pants and a black jacket. If I remember correctly, my underwear is peach colored. My nails are polished with a cool black-and-white design I did, and my hair is in a ponytail. Further updates upon request, for the low low price of $12.99 per month.

Grace: How'd you guess? :)

Uncivil: Welcome! I always suspected that about the U.N. Commission....

Travis: I remember trying jalapeno ones a long time ago, but I can't remember if I liked them or not. What sounds really good right now are the grapefruit ones.

I'm a 100 watt kind of person but Hubster's more of a 60 watt guy. He grew up in the kind of environment where you got yelled at for leaving light bulbs on and I grew up in the kind of environment where lights were left on 24/7 as a matter of course.

We tend to have some of both on hand these days and lights do get turned off... mostly.

Marilyn: My home was one where people were given guilt trips if they left a light on. And, when I say "people", I mean "me", since I'm an only child. Now that I live by myself I always have one light that I leave on, just because I can't stand the whole place being in utter darkness.

My dad's pet peave was that I used too much toilet paper and to many paper towels???????
I just bought a 36 roll package of the "Kirkland Embossed Bath Tissue" and a 12 roll package of the "Kirland Premium Big Roll paper towels" at Costco!!!

Let me wipe me arse if me wants too!

Oh, and 2ea. 6-packs of the "Feit Electric Conserv-Energy compact fluorescent light bulbs"! So's I can see what I'm wiping my Pelosi with!

Uncivil: I've never been to a Costco, but I have been to a "Sam's Club" a few times in my life. I let my membership expire quite a few years ago. Since I'm single and live alone, I just don't need all these huge packages of stuff. But I'm glad you were able to satisfy your lust for toilet paper! Yay!

Janna
I'm also single and live alone, except for my two pups Ab & Em.
There's alot of things foodwise that I can't buy because it would spoil before I could eat it all, especially milk.
But, I like to buy my toiletries, bulbs, etc in bulk to save money.
Have a friend who has a Sam's card,but haven't been there in a while.

Ventured back into your archives. Really enjoyed your "Jantrails" blog too.

You really did a great memorial to your friend Ed Dryer.
That's the hardest part about getting older.......losing your friends.

VE left us a comment on his Tom & Bob post!!!!LOL!!!
