Thirteen reasons I'm going to bed early tonight

1. It's easier to ignore the laundry that way

2. Increased possibility of dreaming of Johnny Depp

3. Writer's Block

4. Maybe while I'm asleep, someone will break in and clean the place

5. If I stay awake, I'll just eat all the chocolate

6. Procrastinating about learning Einstein's Theory of Relativity

7. I've lost my zest for life after learning Brussels sprouts still exist

8. Trying to follow my cats' example

9. Too exhausted after searching for common sense in the world

10. Snoring burns calories... I hope

11. I have the social life of a turnip

12. Waiting for gas prices to go back down to where they were in 1989

13. If I talk in my sleep, maybe I can tell myself when I'm going to have to get up to pee

I had a shitty day today. Really shitty. One of the shittiest days ever. But at 11:55 p.m. tonight, just before the day was about to end hopelessly, #7 and #9 on your list made me laugh out loud, so thank you, Janna. You're a wiz, and you've given me some hope that maybe tomorrow will be better.

In the meantime, I hope you have happy dreams, and get up in time to pee in the toilet instead of your bed. And good luck with that relativity thing. It's complicated, which is why Einstein also had the social life of a turnip.

#9 and #11 fit me just fine...

Mik: Yes and I'm going to leave some chocolate on the kitchen table here too. Feel free to take it all after you do the dishes and sweep and wash the windows.

Thanks!

Everywhere I go there's a writer's block. Why do they always live in the same neighborhoods?

Brussel's sprounts still exist? Damn, I thought I'd taken care of that in my last Time Machine voyage. I'll get 'em next time.

But chocolate always helps when you're walking round and round the writer's block...Still, the cats do know best, sleeping so much. Though they do get up at 4 am and race around the house - I wouldn't recommend that bit.

Mik: Yes! And Yes!

MikeWJ: I'm glad #7 and #9 helped. Sorry the other eleven had no effect. :) Hope today was indeed better than yesterday. Hang in there. Barbecue the nearest living creature and see if it helps.

Grace: I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Marilyn: I'll send him over to you just as soon as he's finished vacuuming my carpet and cleaning the curtains and fixing my dryer and doing the rest of my laundry and scooping the litter box. You might want to give him some water; he's starting to look dehydrated.

Jeff: I pre-loaded it so it would post while I was asleep. :)

VE: Maybe we can find the answer on GoogleEarth or MapQuest...

Knucklehead: While you're at it, try eradicating zucchini and lima beans too. Thanks in advance.

Lidian: I'm sure if I got up and rand around the house at 4 in the morning, it might help burn off some of the calories from the chocolate. Still, I think I'd rather sleep. :)
