Math Problem For Today

How many times will Janna have to wake up feeling comatose before she realizes she just can't stay up late like she used to?

Bonus question: How many hours of sleep does she need before she realizes she forgot to put the clothes in the dryer and therefore has no clean pants to wear tomorrow?

Super Bonus question: Describe in mathematical detail how to rapidly dry a pair of pants while simultaneously getting ready for work and telling the cats to get off the kitchen counter.

I think you can dry them with an iron but I am not authorized for iron operation so I am not sure.

Also, thanks to your facebook game I am now aware of my unliterateness. I need ice cream.

I've not finished my coffee yet, and the dog ate my homework. I'm a girl...I can't do math. *grin*

First question's answer: As many times as it takes.

Second: Clothes should be in the dryer before sleep is even thought of, therefore none!

Third: Prop up a blowdryer and just keep changing it's position as the pants dry. Start at the top of the pants though, as the moisture will seep downwards :D

As you're getting ready, your pants will dry, you just need to take a second now and again to adjust the blowdryer. While adjusting, grab said blowdryer and aim it at the cats when they jump on the counter, they aren't fond of hot air in the face and will jump down. Replace blowdryer to continue drying pants, and continue to get ready for work!

I will say from experience that drying the pants by themselves makes it dry at least twice as fast as if it was with other clothes. I don't know why it took me a long time to figure that out.

I also know from experience that wearing dirty sweats or other clothes while you drive to work with your pants flying from the side of the car to dry in the wind actually works. Just open a window a little, put in part of the pants and then close the window to keep the pants stuck. They dry in like 15 minutes.

Marilyn: Ahh, if only I owned an iron...

CWM: Hey! Anyone can do math. ;)

Skye: Just a sec; lemme write this down...

Whall: You need to do a DITL where your pants are hanging out the window.

Question 1. Multiply the hours past 10 o'clock times the reciprocal of your age divided by how many tacos you can eat in any 3 hour period.
2 a.m. would be 4, multiply that times your age's reciprocal, divide by the taco coefficient, and you have your answer.
Question 2. It's always 5. I csan't explain it, but that's the answer. Just trust me.
Question 3. Whall covered it in perfect detail. Though I have simulated it by hanging them in front of a fan for about 30 minutes. His method is faster and much more efficient. If you use it, video is needed for your blog.

DaOldMan: I think question #1 comes out to 2 over 390. Which simplifies down to 1 over 195. Wow, that's not long at all...

Wow! Those are some hard questions! I wish I could help, but I'm no good at math. Haha! I think it's E=mc2??? Or blue?? Haha.

Vince: It's only blue if you use the metric system. :)
